I still think Russell Allen should have won - he's Dio, but better.

Russell Allen doesn’t just imitate Dio though. He’s got a lot of similar characteristics in his voice, especially when he gets harsher, but he seems to come from a bluesier background than Dio does. Where Dio is like a mystical grandfather weaving you these stories, Russell is like a soulful theater kid who‘a passionate over what he’s doing. Both are great, but I like Allen a lot more.

I like Allen too tbh, especially on the Divine Wings of Tragedy album but Dio was from another level.
