I completely agree. And I love Goldy, but he will not last in this game. He's great and his work with Dio was great, but he's not a virtuoso and we all know this game is gonna come down to virtuosos in the long run.

Goldy has a great melodic touch.
I enjoy his work, although I don’t really know it outside Dio, but Knick is right, there is no way he was going to hang with this group.
 
I mean, I really respect the guy, he's obviously talented, and did a lot of groundbreaking stuff in his short time. But his music isn't that great. Glad to see this is a place where this opinion isn't frowned upon.
