Banning fekso & John Silver was wise

I am from a chess forum for Scandinavian players mainly that at points included both users fekso and John Silver
Both spoke of this forum and the yes forum also where they wreaked havoc and stirred shit up and both complained of bans and also the mods (“cemented demented” and “dementors” was phrases used by them)
fekso was an aggro nuisance at best and Silver made his nasty remarks and attacks and always in rhymes
The chess forum is in shambles after their bans from there as well but we will move ahead once again
I implore you do not let them return
What was done was wise

I'd like to know which forum so we could have a look ourselves.
 
Yeah, I can understand why fekso was banned, but I've never noticed John Silver commit any offense that should be considered ban-worthy. On the contrary, I found most of his posts to be quite amusing. Despite all his silly rhyming he was still able to make points that were coherent, and on-topic to the thread.
 
John Silver was banned for using homophobic slurs. As English is not his first language, he was given one extremely firm warning with a note that if he used that term again, for any reason, he'd be gone. He is now gone, so figure out what happened.
 
There've been multiple posts with homophobic content, plus a history of complaints about other issues.
