And speaking of the Kossoff Strat, here it is claimed that its serial no. is 72102, while his other '62 ('64 actually) HSH Black Strat bears L20508.

Well, the Kossoff serial number is a 1962, so it should be the body's serial, since we know the Kossoff is a partscaster. 1964's serial seems right by all Fender serial number decoder tools.
