OK, but ONLY if you leave YSMANL alone.

Also, Black Thunder, sorry but I have to vote YSMANL. All these songs are great, the rest are just greater.

Thunderstruck.

@Unknown One, it's OK, I understand.

@Prowler, what's the first most over-rated song?

Re: AC/DC Survivor: Top Ten #10 (Feb 20-21)

Weird, because I find it awesome, mainly because of Iommi's riff & SOLO!!!

But, it's a matter of opinion, isn't it?

Re: AC/DC Survivor: Top Ten #10 (Feb 20-21)

Honestly, I'm probably being too rough on it, there's just many, many Sabbath songs I like over it.  The problem I have with both Back in Black and Iron Man is that past the riff, I don't see much in them.

Re: AC/DC Survivor: Top Ten #10 (Feb 20-21)

I'm with you at least half-heartedly on Iron Man, but Back in Black has more going on than just one the best riffs in rock.
specifically:
— The way the stop-start of the main riff contrasts with the tripping-up-the-staircase build of the secondary riff (Iommi is the only riffmaker in Malcolm's class)
— The way the straight rhythmic thud of the drum line provides a counter to both (nobody plays 4/4 like Phil Rudd)
— Johnson is admittedly an acquired taste, but I find this to be one of his best vocal performances — pure jackhammer
— The lyrics in the wake of Bon's death are so badass AC/DC.
— Angus's outro solo absolutely kills

Re: AC/DC Survivor: Top Ten #9 (Feb 22-23)

Iron Man has got a lot to it, but my opinion comes from having played it live. Listening alone, I can see where you might get that. Playing it, there's quite a bit to it. It's famous for one riff, but there are another half dozen great riffs in there.
