Maiden themselves had their embarrassing moments with germanophobia : when the played that famous version of Waysted Years, by swapping their instruments, someone talked of "Gestapo-like twerps" about the German TV officials who wanted to impose something on Maiden, as if any unpleasant behaviour by a German must sent back to this era. I'm not sure, but I think it was in the official bio (Running Free), so, in something approved by the band's management.

Count me in as well (Just going for the Saturday) :)

Really looking to forward to it, this will be the third time I've seen Maiden (Nottingham 2011 & Download 2013 previously). To those of you on here who are going, look out for me in my white Seventh Son shirt (according to a few fellow Maiden fans at Download last year, I apparently stood out like a sore thumb with that shirt lol!) and give me a shout and we'll have a beer! :cheers:

As some of you are just going for the Saturday as well, any heads up on any cheap hotels / B&B's in the area that still have spaces?? I've been trawling for the past few days but all of the cheapest & closest ones in the Knebworth & Stevenage as expected are fully booked up... and the ones that are still available are asking for over £150 just for one night! :/

Seb Bach is playing 5.05-5.50 in Bohemia, I'll be heading there after Frank Turner in hope that he plays a load of Skid Row material. After the dog fight, probably Deftones to try and get a good spot for Maiden, think they're on about 6.15
 
Who's going to be around in the Classic Album area listening to the Killers album in it's entirety between 11:45 - 13:00? I think I will be :P

It'd be pretty cool to listen to it on such a good sound system but there's no way I'm missing any bands to go and there's a couple in that time that I wanna see

Do you know what else is being played in the Classic Album area? Got a link with times? Sounds like a good place to chill with a beer.
 
Awaiting food supplies delivery tonight, running through stage times and making plans.

This is the t-shirt I'll be wearing Saturday (probably Sabaton, Paradise Lost or Katatonia on Sunday)
