50th Anniversary Documentary Announcement

Animation of Eddie doesn't sound too exciting though. Give me interviews and never before released live footage.

And I am curious how big the fan/cultural impact aspect is. I heard the documentary was about fans, I am glad that wasn’t completely true.

I am not sold on the animations and also hope the fans section does not end up being too cringey.

Anyway, roll on Autumn 2025 so we can enjoy this documentary!

Adding more positivity to the thread… I think Eddie's animations are going to be like the website and the fans thing…could be childish and / or shameful like that guy crying at the end of the concert or the guy with eyes and mouth bigger than Big Eddie at in Vivo live at Chile dvd…

Man... just imagine there is a post-credits scene in the movie, where they are actually shown recording the new album!!

It will be cool to see Javier Bardem but they must add some more celebrities to this doc like him. Lady Gaga, Frank Turner, Michael Fassbender, Jason Momoa?.. Especially from other fields than music would be nice to see. There was a tennis player whom Adrian played against, forgot his name. ... And I would prefer to see Hetfield. Just add this section :)

How long will it be? Over 2 hours for sure, right. With footage and lots of interviews.

Done right, it could be cool.
Agreed. I prefer more detailed/stories about the band's albums and tours.

Hmmm, what else could they release this year for the anniv...

But what could he then offer his fourth wife if his third wife had been allowed to do something so important.

Your guess is as good as mine!

Although my message was slightly tongue-in-cheek, a good number of Maiden superfans over at the original Fan Club knew Leana before she became Bruce’s wife, as she was also a travelling fan herself.

I’m now wondering if the band are gearing up for retirement.
