The Genesis of Somewhere in Time

Probably a question beaten to death but still... do you guys really think that there are absolutely no recordings of the SiT Tour done by the band? I can't imagine that they've deleted everything just because they didn't like how it sounded. Paris 1986 is available widely, it doesn't sound that...

    Senjutsu - 3rd September 2021

I can't even hum the beginning after over 10+ listens. Can't remember the vocal line at all. It's like this song's just an ambient sound.

    Senjutsu

I appreciate that this song is so different than anything that Maiden has done in their career. It's not my favourite, but it is still enjoyable. Not really sure if this song fits as an opener, as many of you already stated.

    The Parchment

After my first listen, The Pakrement was my favourite. After a few more listens, Hell on Earth is on top but this is still awesome. Love the vibe, vocals, solos... everything. 12 minutes pass like 3.

    Death Of The Celts

Unfortunately this is among the worst 5 songs after reunion for me. I had the exact same feelings about The Man of Sorrows from BoS. A must-skip for me right now, maybe that will change over the years but... I don't think so. The song wants to be Clansman 2.0 so bad, but it's just... boring. I...

    Senjutsu - 3rd September 2021

Please no Death of the Celts live. Song is absolutely uninspired, there's nothing memorable (even though I've listened to the alubm for more than a few times now). I would love to hear Hell on Earth and The Parchment live.

    Senjutsu - 3rd September 2021

The Pakrement would be the best title.

    Senjutsu - 3rd September 2021

So wait... someone is putting Maiden albums on the shelf, presumably for sale tomorrow right? I mean it would be weird to display it and then not sell it to the customers.

    Senjutsu - 3rd September 2021

I think I will open a record store myself before the next album (if there is one). This wait is absolutely killing me.

Now that I know that the right time has come Newfound torrent will surely be true The impending leakage it looms And the whole of the forum is doomed Why won't mods listen to me Is it so hard to understand That we need Senjutsu now My ban or life on you depends

    Senjutsu - 3rd September 2021

Even though the quality sucks, I'd rather that than restless nights. It makes me wonder, makes me think, there's got to be, a FLAC of this. It's not the fear of dodgy links, it's just that they won't be sincere. I have an interest, almost craving But would I like to get too far in?

Or cheap games like "FIFA 18" even though we are in 2021.

    Senjutsu - 3rd September 2021

What? So, if someone sells games for cheap, that means that they are bound to be successful, only if it wasn't for those god damned pirates! This is the economy we live in, it's really tough to make it in gaming industry. You can make a bank, but if you're games are shit, well, you're not...

    Senjutsu - 3rd September 2021

Or the games were just bad...

    Senjutsu - 3rd September 2021

Yeah it wasn't my point at all. If people in your country can't afford albums, they wouldn't have bought them even if they weren't available on the Internet for free. So in the end they're not "really" stealing, as the band lost nothing. And this is why some previous comparison to stealing food...

    Senjutsu - 3rd September 2021

Sounds like your country is poor and no one would buy the albums anyway (so, the band wouldn't make money anyway). "Free" spotify and youtube still means ad revenue and money for the bands.
  18. I

    Senjutsu - 3rd September 2021

And people are just buying albums in your country? Or not buying them at all?

    Senjutsu - 3rd September 2021

This is nonsense. No, with music streaming platforms, piracy is not a problem anymore (whether these platforms are paying fair share to the musicians is another thing). And you can't compare stuff like that. Not everything is that simple.
  20. I

    Senjutsu - 3rd September 2021

Nah, I probably wouldn't. Maybe I'm too young, but basically 99,99% of people I know use spotify, apple music or some different music streaming platform. And don't forget to take into account that people who pirate stuff wouldn't have bought it in the first place.
