I don't think there is another Metal band that comes close to making Metallica money, not even Maiden. Edit: GnR and AC/DC perhaps, I dunno. I don't consider those two Metal regardless

I understand folks want to plan ahead but I find it a bit odd that announcing dates a year or so in advance is considered "late". I remember back in the day when I started going to concerts they were announced a couple months ahead. Yeah, I'm an old fart.
