    Worldwide album sales

I just don't believe that The Number of the Beast went only one Platinum in the USA to this day. I think that album sold at least two million copies there. We should take into account that RIAA certification for NOTB is from 1986, it was nearly 33 years ago. RIAA obviously didn't re-certify...

    Iron Maiden's popularity on Spotify

When it comes to Spotify Iron Maiden have only 4,138 000 monthly listeners today. It's quite surprising to me, because they are a band with a huge following globally and I really expected to see their bigger popularity on Spotify. Top 10 most streamed Maiden tunes on Spotify: 1. Run to the...

    Deep Purple

I think Burn is a second-tier Deep Purple album. I prefer Fireball over it.

Weakest Song from each Iron Maiden album

"Can I Play With Madness" is a very CHEESY song, but I like it, anyway.

Which band is more influential on Iron Maiden: Sabbath or Purple?

I hear/see things totally opposite than you. Black Sabbath on first 6 albums are much more musically diverse than Iron Maiden ever were and I say it as a big Maiden fan. Black Sabbath weren't a typical heavy metal band, the album Sabbath Bloody Sabbath is the best proof for that. Iron Maiden...

Is Iron Maiden the biggest metal band in the world right now?

I think this doesn't apply to Britain, where Iron Maiden have always been bigger than Metallica among rock and metal crowd. In the UK 80's Maiden albums are much more popular than 80's Metallica albums.

Which band is more influential on Iron Maiden: Sabbath or Purple?

I think Rush from A Farewell to Kings/Hemispheres-era is also a bit influential on Iron Maiden.

Which band is more influential on Iron Maiden: Sabbath or Purple?

I think they are very influenced by 70's Judas Priest. Musical similarities between early Maiden and 70's Priest are obvious.

Is "Deep Purple" really an underrated rock band in America?

In Europe Deep Purple have always been one of the biggest and and most recognized classic rock bands and they enjoyed the equal popularity as Led Zeppelin, while in the USA they have never had a mass popularity and they have never achieved a legendary status. Just look how long it took them to...
