you'll hopefully get to see them sometime in 2015, looks like their U.S. tour will be either summer or fall, since they're in Europe in spring

    Blind Guardian

Well according to their website, they're touring Europe in spring 2015, so their North American tour will either be summer or fall.. I would prefer to see them in the fall, not just because the small indoor venues get very hot when they get packed in the summer, but, also because BG's music...

    Good books about metal/hard rock

lol, I'm sure it does, but as I mentioned, I'm not into the musician memoir that much, I think it just gets kinda old after a while.. but, I am kinda tempted to check out Alex Skolnick's book, "From Geek to Guitar Hero"

    The Concert Thread

o kay I'm a little behind on my concert reviews here, let's see, where did I leave off.. I think with Ace Frehley, yea, so here goes: The VH tribute band "Romeo Delight" were good at the rock record expo, but I was getting annoyed at how long they took to start, supposed to play at 12:30 and...

    Unpopular Metal/Rock Opinions

here's a few more I've thought of: -I've never really been that big into Anthrax, I like em a bit, but I've just never been a real diehard fan -ditto on Motorhead, their only song I like is "Ace of Spades" -never really liked Ted Nugent at all, other than "Cat Scratch Fever"

    Unpopular Metal/Rock Opinions

ditto on not liking Opeth, they get so boring after a while... and yea, I strongly dislike Avenged Sevenfold as well, even if Mike Portnoy did drumming for them..

Maiden references in movies or TV shows

"Off topic, but Biodome is easily one of the worst movies I have ever seen"- lol, eh, I know Pauly Shore is not everyone's favorite, but I enjoyed his movies in the 90s, Bio Dome might not be the most profound, inspiring film ever made, but it's good clean fun for a rainy Saturday afternoon:) My...

    Unpopular Metal/Rock Opinions

yes, you are right there, those 4 are not your typical cheesy D&D power metal-type bands.. Kamelot have much darker lyrical themes and like you said, are more of a symphonic metal band... Blind Guardian stand out from others because their songs are based on actual fantasy stories by JRR...
