I like NPFTD quite a lot. Only some sub par songs in my opinion. I like the rawness and really the fact that there's shorter songs. The length of songs that's almost the same length of the intro on some later songs.
I've stuck quite close to the originals. I have had ideas of doing some different arrangements for some songs, but it takes more time. These come quite quick like this. Let's see if I do some of the ideas.
Because Hooks In You is everywhere in the bottom of Maiden song rankings I just HAVE to make a cover of it :D
For reference what I have been doing check this thread out. There is also No Prayer For The Dying...
Cheers!
As a big fan of Somewhere In Time I have been doing these Iron Maiden songs as if the would've been done in Somewhere In Time era. Some
songs are faithful to the original ones and on some songs I have done some changes. I don't really practise these songs. I just record them and try to...
I have liked No Prayer For The Dying since the release. The worst song is Bring Your Daughter IMO. I really like the raw production and songs are really good, the title track and Fates Warning especially. I think NPFTD is way better than Fear of The Dark.
I chose Piece of Mind. Not meaning it is a bad album or anything. But just compared to the rest, it is the weakest. Sound wise it is the worst with the rhythm guitar tone.
