I like the intro a lot, but then everything goes progressively downhill. The lyrics are pretty stupid, the chorus is dreadful, all the rest is mediocre. I don’t know if my opinion will change listening closely t the entirety of the next albums again, but right now I think it might be their worst...

I think it might be one of the most underrated tracks of theirs. The lyrics are quite powerful and song condenses a lot of interesting stuff in 4 minutes. 9/10

I think everyone sounds great on this song. Steve's bass intro is amazing, the riffs are great, the vocal performance is very good and I love Nicko's drumming too. 9/10

At first I thought this song was rather boring, but it has grown on me a lot. In particular the instrumental part is absolutely incredible. One of Maiden's greatest artistic creations, and as such it deserves a 10/10

It’s undoubtably a good song, but to be honest I don’t really see why lots of people seem to rate it among Maiden’s best. Who knows, maybe it will grow on me, but as of now I don’t see anything incredible about it. 7/10

The lyrics really bring this song down for me, and make it the least enjoyable of the album. They feel to me like one the songs they make you learn in primary school to remember stuff, which is most definitely not good for a metal song, or really any song in general. Harmonies on this song are amazing, and overall the song is very catchy and interesting. It’s a bit of a shame the lyrics are quite predictable considering the theme. 8/10

Once again, another amazing one on an album that keeps on giving. The intro and solo are out of this world. “Only” a 9 because, just like CSIT, it feels kinda repetitive after a while

Amazing song. I love the ‘run on and on’ part, it really gives you the sense of speed of stress that you feel while running, and I think overall the whole song is quite emotional for anyone that has experience with running. Not quite on the masterpiece level but nearly there. 9/10

I’m not really a fan of the chorus, it’s not that bad but it feels kinds cheesy. All the rest is good though: interesting intro, thoughtful lyrics, etc. 8/10, although it’s strange how often they play it live compared to other SIT songs

Another great song from Adrian. A much more emotional song than usual, and it fits very well, together with the riff and everything else. 9/10
