Really good interview, enjoyed that. For me it is a shame that not much came of either line-ups of Psycho Motel, I enjoy both albums, particularly the second one.

Well there is a lyric video available for one of the tracks from Biff’s solo album. Pretty decent tune on first listen I thought, but really not much different from Saxon, so not sure why he needed to complete a solo album to release something like this.

I'll be checking out his solo offerings, curious as to how different they will be to Saxon.

Interesting little article from Smith there, what struck me was where he said that he played on a couple of the tracks on No Prayer. I didn't think he was on that album at all.

My band was in the studio last week, we started recording a new original song along with a cover of the track, I Think We’re Alone Now. Have put up a video clip from each, a vocal take from, ITWAN, and the drum and bass recording from the original, Can’t Wait For Her Love.

Just purchased tickets to see Saxon at Hammersmith later in the year, going to see Gloryhammer the night before, so should be a good weekend.

Enjoyed the tournament, Thiem played really well in both the semi and the final, I had though been hoping for a Nadal Djokovic showdown. Looking forward to the grass now, and seeing how Murray gets on in the doubles at Queens.

It does say at the bottom of the report, "Uli left and they ask Michael to look out for guitar players." So might be that the Scorpions asked Michael to look out for/recommend/ask some guitar players.

Pretty average song for me, probably the one I skip most on the album.

That is a bit better than I was expecting. Thought his voice sounded a bit more natural than it has done on the last couple of albums and the guitars a bit less processed. But still a pretty harsh guitar sound and a complete lack of bass. I really do miss the walking basslines of Neil Murray...
