    Bruce Dickinson

They did say that in 2005 for the early days touring as well, but they have played almost half of that setlist later on. Rime is very likely to show up again

JUDAS PRIEST ALBUM RANKING GAME: FINAL ENTRY AND RECAP

To me it sounds like Turbo is made by someone who have an early midlife crisis.

    The beer vs wine poll

I don’t drink either anymore. But I was surely a wine guy. Never been a big beer drinker

First two Ozzy albums vs. first two Maiden albums?

Good pair of albums both of them. But I almost never listen to Ozzy albums. Voted IM/Killers

The Chemical Wedding vs. War Of Words

The chemical wedding is a classic, very solid album. Bruce at his best outside of Maiden. War of words have great moments, but a bit too much groove for me. Rob nailed it with his first Halford album

    Kill 'Em All Vs. Painkiller

I voted Kill ‘em all. Alot more replay value, and also more "home" for me. Timeless songs, classic riffs, hungry band at their start. I probably listen to the album around 10 times a year. Painkiller is good, I like their faster and heavier style. But thin production. I listen to it every other...

    Bruce Dickinson

Nothing set in stone yet, but my guess is during the next 12 months. Could also be around the next solo album release, like when the back catalouge was re-released when Tyranny of souls came out

Iron Maiden style of music not being very RIFFY

I think Maiden is perfect as they are. Melodies, riffs, harmonies, I think all their albums and eras sounds good overall. They could experiement with either more riffs or more Journeyman-stuff, but they don’t have much more time as an active band, so if they come up with one more album, I would...

Iron Maiden Tour 2025 - Discussion

The 2008/2009 tours basically covered that, and they have done all this 80’s stuff now. If they do so, they are becoming close to a joke in my opinion. Its time to either move forward with new album/tour, do a 50th anniversary thing, or something similar to Legacy tour.

    Sonata Arctica

Great to see them back in Trondheim, will try to make that show. They rocked the house back in 2019. Expensive tickets though

If you could envision a side project for any musician who hasn't pursued one yet, who would you choose?

He did an EP with Brian May. Good question. Would be cool to hear Hetfield outside of Metallica. Same with theys guys: Joakim Brodèn, Roy Khan, Hansi Kurch, Tony Kakko, the Def leppard guys

    Slash

I see myself as a huge Slash/Guns fan, I’m always interested in his work. No one plays like him. The Snakepit records are great, the first one have lots of songs close to classic Guns. Velvet revolver was pretty good to, like both albums. The 2010 album had lots of potential, but it was a...

Paul Cairns (Mad Mac) played on The Soundhouse Tapes

Steve paid out Paul and Clive in the 80’s, and Blaze shortly after he left. Not sure if he bought out Adrian and Bruce when they left, or attempted to do so. Their songs were definetly more worth in total. For all we know, he could also have paid out members from the earliest days.

    The Future Past Tour 2024

It’s a shame Maiden can’t do a show in Argentina. Many other bands don’t skip Argentina either. When times are bad, people really deserve a show to escape their situasion for a few hours

JUDAS PRIEST ALBUM RANKING GAME: FINAL ENTRY AND RECAP

I find Point of entry better than the two last 80’s albums, but dissapointingly compared to the rest of the 80’s albums. The production is excellent, and Halford sounds amazing. The songs Heading out the highway, Solar angels, Desert plains are among their best. Hot rockin’ and Don’t go are...
