That really is saying something, yeah. Dave's pissed off attitude really fits some of the Ozzy era stuff well. Dave is a terrible singer no doubt, but his voice makes up for that with charisma and attitude that complements the music so well.
Megadeth's cover of "Never Say Die!" is actually really worth checking out, I'm surprised it didn't make it onto Hidden Treasures. A really dry and lifeless song on the original album that just explodes with energy when played live.
British Steel definitely isn't my favorite Priest album either, but I still love it nonetheless. I'd take simple but fun classics like Living After Midnight over anything Priest recorded post-Painkiller, no joke.
Oh jeez, those vocal effects....
I for one thought Rob actually did a really good job on "Redeemer of Souls" despite his range being diminished over the years. So I don't really get why that chorus effect is really necessary on this track.
Claypool's solo work is also amazingly good. I'm wondering what pedal they had to put the cello through to get that tone because it's just gorgeous, I want that for my cello.
EDIT: Only thing wrong with this video is the crap guitar solo, you can tell from his eyes that's he's high as balls.
