It is a bit sad to hear the GOAT sound like that...
 
Funnily enough not his worst performance of the song. There have been quite a few over the last years that sounded worse. As well as some during the 80s and 90s on bad/sick days.

A song that primarily centers its vocal lines around the B4 note is difficult to pull off consistently on the best of days. Add aging, touring AND getting sick to it? Of course we get stuff like that as a result.

Yeah ive seen them a few times over the last 4-5 years and he still sounds pretty good. Helps when the rest of the band can sing too

Of course, Bruce's voice is fried on Fear and Wasted Years too after it.
 
Does he self-isolate between shows when on tour? I know cancer does a number on your immune system so he probably owes it to himself and the fans to try if he's this susceptible to everyday illnesses.
 
They should really stop doing back-to-backs at this age. At least learn something from Rush.

If Bruce is sick, those back-to-backs aren't pretty.

Still holding out for the option to trek to Charlotte (maybe a lawn ticket as a last resort) and it's the 2nd night of a back-to-back. I hope Bruce is feeling better by then. But honestly if it's an off night for him I wouldn't care

I think i read something that he locked in his hotel room before RIR. And during world slavery tour too but for other reasons lol.

I`ve been watching the behind the scenes of the tour stuff they put out on Youtube, it`s good fun. Linkin Park do the same sort of thing, i wish Maiden would do something similar.
