Who thinks we'll get to see the show again next year? I have a feeling we will.
Of course, that's just wishful thinking.
But then again, I was right when I sensed they'd be playing in Hannover.

I'm voting yes.
Signs: Steve has already been hinting at this turnaround in interviews (mentioning his fear of getting rusty), this year's tour has sold a ton of tickets; Bruce, who apparently never has enough to do, says he'll be “busy” next year.
 
Well, I personally hope they move forward now, they have covered quite many places after this year. Why do we need one more summer with Run for your lives? I would prefer a new album!

Bruce are releasing a new album and have tour dates next year. Smith/Kotzen, don’t they have some dates as well? And British lion, we know they have written some new songs and could be likely recording a new album next year to. So we know it won’t be a full-on Maiden tour coming in 2027.
 
IF they do something live next year (I'd say it's unlikely, but stranger things have happened), it won't be RFYL and I think it will be a residency somewhere like the O2 (5-6 shows across 10 days or so). Bruce is busy with his solo band most of the year and they will likely record next IM album too.
 
I find it unlikely that Steve would just drop a comment like that in an interview for no reason when it is clear that nothing will happen live anyway.

Sure, Bruce is touring intensively for his new solo album, but this guy takes a short break from an IM world tour to head out to the desert and shoot music videos, then squeezes in a quick visit to a comic convention...

Yes. I think they will play live next year. I wonder when that will be announced?

I immediately found it very, very strange that they supposedly didn't want to use an entire year to stay in shape as a live band.

I immediately wondered if this could be a marketing ploy, since they need to fill stadiums worldwide .And in Europe for the second time.
Now that Steve is backtracking, it all suddenly adds up.

You know what would be ironic? If this “break” year turned out to be Maiden's busiest year in a long time: A new album, live shows, Bruce solo...:bigsmile:
