Only standard seats available on AXS for Leeds are £176 plus fees each,£291 each for a VIP seat with a lanyard and a special merch item.

Moral of the story , Maidens European tickets are not expensive and Knebworth is a bargain i`d say.

If you take her to see them at Hyde Park the price is significantly cheaper. You can find general admission tickets from £103.65, but prices go down to £76.15 per ticket for a team of 6.

I see what you are doing there. As the basic bell tent for 2 costs £495, you want to blow all your money to avoid having to go to the Duran Duran show.

I'm an avid forum reader who has felt the urge to actually register, moved by how surprising I find that almost everyone is trashing Bruce for "ruining" «Aces High» while basically accepting that Simon —who is not Clive Burr and is making the band sound more tired than ever— is doing an excellent job.
I have nothing personal against the fella. I wish he was able to take the band somewhere else. But in my opininon, he's the main reason Maiden sound, for the first time, like they're going through the motions. And it hurts.
Joe Strummer said it: "there's a rule in Rock 'N' Roll, You're only as good as your drummer".

I wrote it in the comments for the Sweden Rock 2026 video, which, of course, has been deleted:
"As sad as it makes me, the band sounds tired at this gig. The absence of Nicko is immensely noticeable. «The Number of the Beast» is a bloody mess. And Bruce is late in the first songs —if it's a "monitor issue", get that fucking fixed. I DO NOT want them to quit. They are one of my favorite bands ever. But neither do I want to see them getting dull on stage. Not Maiden. They are not Guns N' Roses nor the Rolling Stones; they are something else, something beyond the ones who fade away".

I never liked Bruce on Aces High, and now he sounds worse than ever.

Simon is a great drummer and does the material more than justice for the most part. Bruce's timing issues are on him, they aren't because of Simon since he had the same issues with Nicko as well.

So yeah, of course I'll say nice things about Simon while criticizing Bruce on Aces High, since the former left a great impression when I saw them live, while the latter has been struggling noticeably with the song to the point where he admitted to that in an interview.

1. I dont think we are bashing bruce he tries to sing aces high at the encore. We are bashing the decision of who decided that
2. Simon is a good drummer but not one great drummer or first level drummer. Thats for sure
3. The band seems tired on the second half of the show. Bruce indeed sounds tired. Maybe the weather,maybe the age,maybe becuase he is not fit but thats what it is now. Btw i dont find the number of the beast a mess at all.
Enjoy becuause i think we have 2 more tours and thats all.

I didn’t find anything. They didn’t seem tired even in the second half of the show.
Adrian did “something,” though I’m not exactly sure what “something” was. Just shaking his feet very intensely or an attempt to dance, but he just can’t dance.

I say bruce i was at sofia show and i mean the way he sings,when he is tired he uses to "talk" the song. And that exactly what he does for ex during RTTH to reach the chorus
But as a peformance i saw the band enjoying the show even steve was angry when bruce fucked killers. But yes for me bruce was tired on the 2nd half or saving energy

I think they will retire when something happen or they feel their show is not good enough. And for me they are good. We can complain about bruce being strained but the band sounded good. We will see,they are going to take 1 year off. I really doubt they are going to be one year off and then say we are not going to play anymore,thanks for this years of support at their website. Maybe if they are planing to retire play like this 20 dates or a big gig like sabbath.

Well, TBH if Ged and Alex hired a medicore drummer, they would get flamethrowered by their fanbase.

I listened to the whole set from last night and I have basically 0 complaints about the drumming. Except maybe Red Sector A, but that one sounds different, because Anika is using her acoustic kit and not the electronic one, like Neil did.

After watch a lot of clips of rush's kick off new tour, i agree 200%. Simon is allright but the band is lacking a lot.

These scenarios need to be someone younger.

I didnt felt that was simon fault. I felt they are using / mixing the sound that you project in a different way. Like they sounded more clear,you can hear everything really tight but for me as a show,some power was missed. Some raw sound,distortion or that heavy sound. Thats what i felt and acording to the videos its the same. They sound great,but different.

I dont know anything about mix,sound engenieer and pa. Maybe someone can explain this change

For example helloween from the andi deris years since 1998 was a ball of sound of double drums distortion guitars and bass,now its the same as maiden
