Is anyone in the Iron Maiden fan club at this time and if so, is the chat room active / alive?
Thanks!
Thanks!
His second one right, the original has some Egyptian-esque vibe, and this version even more so (probably inspired by his live Solo during the previous tour) and I love it. Quite fitting.Daves solo in Phantom is a little different and I like it.
It certainly resembles a camera crane based on that blurry image. I'm struggling to think what else it could be.I haven't had an eagle eyeball on the whole show from 86 but isn't it said that it was never filmed? Blame Rod, they said. Well, I think I see a camera on a boom, not the sort of thing one would expect to see at a show that wasn't being filmed.... View attachment 46183
It's towards the end of Iron Maiden, about the 1hr 24 mark when the camera pans from centre stage over to Steve.
The whole show seems quite dark, could this be another case like Beast Over Hammersmith where the lighting fucked the video? Is this news? Or is it not a camera? Looks like a camera to me but then who am I but a guy with eyes red with the slaughter of innocence?

Sheffield? Bruce was sick for sure. Theres is another history about bruce wanting to cancel a show because he was sick and rod telling him that they werent to csncel the show and bruce standing on the drums. Dont know if its on that tour or on the world slavery tourView attachment 46185
Here's another inconclusive pic. It's pretty clear in the video, it's totes a camera, in my opinion.
Other thing is, they played 2 nights in Sheffield on that tour, there's crowd filmed bootlegs of both on YouTube and Burce sounds quite sick on one of them and possibly not great on the other. Could be another reason for not releasing anything. And blaming Rod is a better excuse than sayin "our singer sounded like shit."
Maybe Steve wanted to film 6 gigs but Rod only allowed coin for 2 and Bruce just happened to be sick.

I was thinking the same. The shooting for the videoThe filming was for the Stranger in a Strange Land video. Bruce mentions it during the gig.
Mystery solved. Fuck you and your facts, Cain! The filming was for the Stranger in a Strange Land video. Bruce mentions it during the gig.

Definitely the best quality I've seen from this tour.
Great find. Shame that it isn't the full show but I'll take whatever we can get from 86/87.I think this is the show.
Anyway I think the Show in Philadelphia 87 or Miami 87 is taken from a local tv and it's much better
Philadelphia 87
I really wish I could find a full recording of the 1 time they played lonelinessGreat find. Shame that it isn't the full show but I'll take whatever we can get from 86/87.
