Steve said in a recent interview that he didnt want do stop IM activities in 2027. And planned to have a meeting with the other members to discuss this matter.

I am sure there are always meetings, planning future tours, business decisions etc even if the band if officially not on the road. Fortunately it is not like some groups that only communicate through their lawyers.

Pat Cash was a famous tennis player in the 80’s, and a good friend of Adrian, you can see them in Flight 666. I’m sure the rest are fans or know some of the Maiden guys personally. John-Rhys Davies is a metal fan

Short tour will certainly not happen after what was announced, but maybe Steve finally wants to record a new album, that fits into the ''activities'' category.
