Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 Rumours and Speculation

Everyone here seems to think that the FC forum users are all mates with the band and have exclusive insider knowledge or some shit.
Yeah, while some of it does turn out to be credible, most people there seem to think they have some insider info but don't really know more than the rest of us lol.

Because we, at Maidenfans, are Diet Coke or non-alcoholic beer whereas the Official FC is the real deal. They are the nobles and we're the peasants. Or something. :D
To be honest, the only reasons I am extending my FC membership in the third or fourth year yet is: Since I'm collecting Tshirts from the official store the 10% discount does pay off, and also for the sake of FTTB. The forum and all the discussions are a complete waste of time, really. Completely boring, in big parts even ridiculous, and I enjoy THIS place here a lot more.

Btw, nothing wrong with none alcoholic beer... :) I enjoy Maiden shows so much more since I gave up drinking beer or any other alc half a decade ago. And First To The Barrier makes no sense with beer, because it would turn soon into some First To The Toilet or First To The Pee Tree or whatever you wanna call that project.

We don't see anything.
If anything, we see the results of a management which decided to organize a special show without spending the proper amount of money.
This.
Maiden management cheaping out as usual. All the stuff in the museum will be cool no doubt, but without a genuinely solid lineup it's all a bit of a waste.

The supporting bands are meant to extend the appeal and credibility of the event, make it a must see gig. Not just to fill time.

"X, Y, Z AND Maiden on the same day!? I've got to go to that!"

^NO ONE is filling in that sentence with The Darkness, The Hu or The Almighty.

Judas Priest
Lamb of God
Megadeth
Anthrax
Killswitch Engage
In Flames
Architects
Avenged Sevenfold
Trivium

Download main stage bands is what they should have booked. Instead their biggest draw (Darkness/Airborne) don't even headline second stage.

They went for a commercial hard rock bill with Airbourne and Darkness. What you listed are several actual metal bands, traditional and modern, and that’s what missing from the bill …

Megadeth with Maiden in Australia for late 2026 (as per the rumour above) would seal that deal for me, for example.

See Foo Fighters have confirmed Australia, New Zealand stadium tour November and January. Would this impact the casuals?

If Maiden tour with Megadeth in Aus/NZ would this be small stadiums? If playing India, Japan, 1 other Asian country, say 10 dates total, would that mean 4 small stadiums in Aus/NZ?

Guns N Roses will also be there in November, it's looking like a real competitive month now.

Maiden usually play in basket ball arenas here. When I saw maiden for the future past tour in 2024 there was only roughly 12000 people at the Brisbane show.

Attention Please! One of my close friends, who is a member of the official FC, states IM will announce the Oceania Tour very soon, probably with Megadeth as a special guest. He's a serious person, no foolish jokes. So, we must wait.
Perfect, so we can rule out an Oceania's announcement coming anytime soon.

The Darkness play the same sized venues in the UK as most of those listed bands. Airborne, The HU and The Almighty are certainly small venue bands, but The Darkness are a well known band that play medium size venues to arenas in the UK. Is it because their fans may not be the right sort of people that's triggering "metal" fans? Would be sad if it was, and also not true, I've seen them 7 or 8 times and there's not a lot of difference between their crowd and a normal metal crowd. Certainly far less attention seekers than the standard Download crowd, by a long way.

Also, I have a hard time understanding why people seem desperate to see Anthrax play this set, https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/anth...orial-centre-victoria-bc-canada-1b4c8584.html , yet again.

Why does their name keep coming up? Is it just because they are a metal band that are touring? 9 songs with 2 covers, what a must see show.

If Maiden really announces that leg, I think they would do indoors, stadiums, even small ones, would be too risky. They just played Australia in 2024, so they need a proper support act(s) to do it again.

I don't know it for sure, it's just a suggestion/rumour from a reliable person I know. So, we'll see.
It is credible at least: Megadeth have dates until September only... Mustaine says he wants to tour till he basically can't play live anymore. I'd love to see Megadeth support Maiden again; only other time was 1999 on Ed Hunter that I saw them support Maiden.

Same situation here. I want to see them even in separate shows but in this first year of farewell tour megadeth doesnt play in my town. I hope he will tour 5 years as he said but who knows. Weird that in a farewell tour he doesnt play some cities
