Yeah i think 60000 will be a reasonable expectation which they might well get to with last minute surges etc
The capacity for Knebworth park is 125k per day. That's for single concerts and not festivals though as space may be needed for camping grounds (assuming those campsites infringe on the main arena). Probably the best measurement would be taken from looking at the Sonisphere numbers.85.0000 is the actual capacity. Don't know if it's less due to the museums and stuff Maiden has, but it doesn't look like it by the teaser
Oasis played 2 nights there and hit 250k sales back in 1996So what's s total sell out for Knebworth. Anybody know. Didn't Led Zep get 120000 on the first night?
Liam Gallagher had 85k per night in 2022, setup will probably be the same as Maiden. I don't think Sonisphere was held in the same spot as this year (i mean, same spot but different layouts)The capacity for Knebworth park is 125k per day. Not sure Maiden were expecting to realistically hit 85k, but they were hoping to top London Stadium sales, otherwise why try a larger capacity venue.Liam Gallagher had 85k per night in 2022, setup will probably be the same as Maiden. London was 69k tickets sold and probably close to 75k in total, so it wasn't going to be a big step upNot sure Maiden were expecting to realistically hit 85k, but they were hoping to top London Stadium sales, otherwise why try a larger capacity venue.
I hope they'll cut the prices a month or two before the event. I don't think they will add some hot names to the bill. If the show ended with some 30k in attendance, it would be catastrophic for an event of this range.London was 69k tickets sold and probably close to 75k in total, so it wasn't going to be a big step up
My theory is that they wanted a cheap, big open air space where to put the attractions
I guess that's right, with all the additional attractions they probably thought that would be the bigger selling point and could get away with adding average support.London was 69k tickets sold and probably close to 75k in total, so it wasn't going to be a big step up

I am also a member of the official FC, but what does somebodies FC membership have to do with tour announcements?Attention Please! One of my close friends, who is a member of the official FC, states IM will announce the Oceania Tour very soon, probably with Megadeth as a special guest. He's a serious person, no foolish jokes.
OK, people know the others; some of them are insiders. Many times before, he informed me about the band's plans sooner than they announced the info officially. He was right. I hope he's this time, too.I am also a member of the official FC, but what does somebodies FC membership have to do with tour announcements?
Because we, at Maidenfans, are Diet Coke or non-alcoholic beer whereas the Official FC is the real deal. They are the nobles and we're the peasants. Or something.I am also a member of the official FC, but what does somebodies FC membership have to do with tour announcements?

Cos we can say what we want here. I presume the nods are all over the IMFC forum?Everyone here seems to think that the FC forum users are all mates with the band and have exclusive insider knowledge or some shit.
For the record, while I do have access to IMFC, I never use it because the banter is more entertaining here.
I said only some people, not "all". It's a difference.Everyone here seems to think that the FC forum users are all mates with the band and have exclusive insider knowledge or some shit.

Dude I was agreeing with you. People are going to think somethings off the always will. But as you said its insane. So basically everyone should be worried about Maiden because they haven't posted anything relevant for a couple of months?
Nothing is wrong, nothing is off, everything is okay. We know their plans for this and for next year (which is a first), 99% of the shows are announced and the remaining 1% will be announced IN DUE TIME, which as we saw it could very well be in a month or 2. In the meantime, Bruce has just finished recording his next solo album and Adrian is touring Europe as we speak. So it's not even like everything is quite, we already know what's happening more than usual.
I wonder what would've happened if they were going to announce every single show at the same moment last september. "Oh my God, they haven't said anything relevant for 5 months, they must be sick!"

Yeah, while some of it does turn out to be credible, most people there seem to think they have some insider info but don't really know more than the rest of us lol.Everyone here seems to think that the FC forum users are all mates with the band and have exclusive insider knowledge or some shit.
To be honest, the only reasons I am extending my FC membership in the third or fourth year yet is: Since I'm collecting Tshirts from the official store the 10% discount does pay off, and also for the sake of FTTB. The forum and all the discussions are a complete waste of time, really. Completely boring, in big parts even ridiculous, and I enjoy THIS place here a lot more.Because we, at Maidenfans, are Diet Coke or non-alcoholic beer whereas the Official FC is the real deal.
