Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 Rumours and Speculation

A third show in Sao Paulo is looking likely on the 28th, and that's it for South America. But I think we might get the remaining countries announced before that one.
 
I’m kinda disappointed that Maiden will be playing here in Brazil only in São Paulo once again. Also, the dates aren’t good so far: a Sunday with presidential elections in Brazil and a Tuesday (weekday). São Paulo is 800km away from me. Brazil is such a big country and there are fans spread all over the place. I haven’t missed a single Maiden tour here in Brazil since 2011, but I think this time I might end up missing it. It’s a mix of disappointment with the dates, a lack of excitement about the tour (which feels like more of the same) and very expensive tickets.

I’ve been reflecting: for me what really excites me about a band is new albums. Not that Maiden’s tours revisiting the past haven’t been good and all. Some of them were fantastic, such as Legacy of The Beast. But this time, I honestly feel a bit saturated.

At the moment, I decided to buy tickets for Helloween instead (exciting setlist which includes new songs from their latest album plus some true rarities from the past). It’s kinda sad, but that’s the reality. Anyway, if they open a third date in São Paulo on a Saturday, I will try to go. Mainly for "Murders" and "Killers" and also for the feeling that it could be their last show in Brazil. But am I super excited? No, sorry.

It's interesting to see that there is less demand for this tour than for The Future Past Tour. Santiago still has tickets available, while the 2nd show in Buenos doesn't seem to be selling good, probably less than a packed Movistar so far. Could it be the holiday period or people are actually interested in new albums instead of nostalgia rounds?

The tickets are expensive and the fans just spent a little fortune on AC/DC shows. I'm surprised they didn't announce the documentary premiere before the tour announcement. To me it's a kind of misunderstanding.

I would probably wait for at least general sale to start before making more stupid predictions.

They are doing a big tour. They could fill bigger stadiums in SA. 2 nights at huracan 2 sao paulo 2 chile? I think its the first time?

Depends on the sales result, I suppose, if the second date sells fast, the probability of the 3rd date would be reliable. No reason to add more shows if people don't buy the tickets.

It's funny that you say this after the first show has sold out in less than 30 minutes.
Also, they will play it no matter what. They'll get paid anyway and they won't waste a day off

Probably, but look at the prices, and I don't believe they would play at an empty stadium (I hope not).
