RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

My mind was just blown:

A few years ago I found out that tuna are huge fish. I knew they weren't exactly small, but I didn't know those things could be larger than me.

I just had the same realization with albatrosses. No, they aren't as big as seagulls, they're enormous:

No wonder slaying one unleashed a curse lol
In my culture they say killing a swan means bad luck, that they are sacred. Some birds are also said to be bringer of bad news, for instance a death of someone you know. If a magpie knocks on your window it's said that someone just died.

A seagull shit on me today.

Am I allowed to shoot it, or how was that again?
Many years ago, I had some actual mariner (not ancient, but he did look the part, figured it was probably the lifestyle) tell me when both of us were incredibly drunk that you can't shoot seagulls because they're the souls of sailors. I mentioned albatrosses because, well, duh, and we'd just been listening to Maiden at the party my brother dragged me to so it was on my mind. He scoffed and immediately told me they're trash birds that should be killed.

Who's a bigger asshole? Seagulls, Bruce or Churchill? :D

Churchill, followed by Bruce, and then the seagulls. And I say that after one seagull stole half of my rhubarb and strawberries ice cream in Lyme Regis (lovely place where Mary Anning discovered many amazing fossils and where Ian Gillan - not a fossil himself - lives) a couple of summers ago with a kamikaze dive!

What did it mean when my budgie bit the shit out of me?

Something I want to highlight: That cell phone warning before the show is really doing the desired effect. Because the amount of videos of the shows fell dramatically compared to future past tour.
Again glad for schmucks like me who will be waiting to see if I will have a chance to see the show live next year that there is some footage to see. Given the fantastic visual aspect of the show I'm sure that is why Maiden would like to keep fan video of it to a minimum. At least they haven't gone as far as Ghost with the pouch thing. It would be a nightmare for crowds this size

Literally before the show? Like a message on the screen or something? Or are you talking about the press release from weeks ago?

There was a warning on the big screens like 15 minutes before the show, something like: Please put your phone away during the show, to respect the band and the rest of the audience.

It had some effect, but still a bunch were filming away at the show I attended. It should have been done ever since the smartphones came out. I myself took three photos just for myself and to show my kids
