I'm sorry but "goofy-ass motherfucker" sent me rolling....I love that goofy-ass motherfucker singing in the livestream. He probably sounds exactly like how I sounded to everyone around me in 2018.
That's my whole thought as well. For a 50th anniversary tour they really had to go all out and surprise fans with more than just epics that, quite frankly, carried the whole setlist.I think the setlist is okay, but no more. For a regular "hits" tour - fine.
However, for the 50th anniversary tour it's quite a let down.
Especially when recalling how dramatically it got announced, like biggest stage, most impressive thing ever etc.
Everything correct when taken literally, like five feet more here and three feet there in its measures, but when it comes to the choice of songs in total, it's underwhelming and does not do justice to what it all got anounced.
But okay.
Exactly my thoughts, boggles the mind they didn't learn from the last time it was in the encore.Aces will be terrible in a few months. If Bruce struggles during the 1st night... Man...
Peanut butter and jealous.I think the setlist is okay, but no more. For a regular "hits" tour - fine.

It was awesome. Shame some feel a little different or let down. This was the best show I've seen in my life.
Simon Dawson is love, Simon Dawson is life.

Peanut butter and jealous.Well, it fits the performance of the song quite well then!
Yup. Put Running Free or Bring Your Daughter in there and voila.Exactly my thoughts, boggles the mind they didn't learn from the last time it was in the encore.
Peanut butter and jealous.I'm going to say something controversial here, and Maiden is my favorite band of all time, but this tour feels so incredibly overhyped at the moment. Bruce's "this is a setlist for the ages" and his promise of "doing stuff we've never done before". It all feels like a big marketing stunt at this point.
Sure there was the big ass screen and sure they played Rime, 7th son, Powerslave, Killers, Phantom and what not. But compared to the LotB tour this was nothing special at all. Especially after a massive tour like the Future Past Tour playing songs from an album they hadn't touched in years!
I might even say that I think this is by far the weakest "hits" tour we've had. SBiT was World Slavery 2.0. Maiden England was 7th Son tour 2.0. The Future Past was Somewhere in Time 2.0. Those tours were hyped up but with good reason! This? This feels like they took elements from all those tours (and LotB ) put in a blender and label it as "50th anniversary tour"
This feels so much like "okay let's throw in some Killers tracks as opening songs, Rime and 7th son and people will lose their minds. They won't care for the rest". I will still go and see them in Arnhem later this year but man. So many missed chances on here. No love for NPFTD. No love for deep cuts or songs thay haven't been played for years. Don't know exactly how to feel emotionally....
It was an excellent set, but it ended with a squib. So all that awesome energy from the start and middle kind of drops....It was awesome. Shame some feel a little different or let down.
I think that's all because of the encore. It was awesome. Shame some feel a little different or let down.
The encore - I’m going hime after Iron Maiden. Ruins the whole damn show for me.
Peanut butter and jealous.Disappointing
Shh, adults are talking here boyPeanut butter and jealous.
Peanut butter and jealous.Kind of disappointed with the setlist…apart from a few songs, they played nothing but a safe set.
Or even Tailgunner, they could even recycle the screen animation lolYup. Put Running Free or Bring Your Daughter in there and voila.
