I will be extremely disappointed if Wrathchild is not played as the first and last song of the set :D
Anyhow, I am ready to be disappointed that this going to be another hits-only tour (NOTB, RTTH, TT, HBTN, 2M2M, AH, CIPWM, TETMD, FOTD, RF, Sanctuary, and ofc wrathchild, etc)

I mean, isn't that the whole f*cking point of this forum website? To discuss stuff like that with other people?

Not trying to be rude here but if you don't like setlist and tour speculation, why are you here?
Yeah, it's fine to talk about it from time to time, In fact I made my setlist months ago but let me tell you that there's a thread topic here to talk about the setlist. I understand the hype with the start of the tour but sometimes is boring and tired to read always the same. Anyway I'm here since dinassours ruled the earth LOL

They've previously rehearsed and played songs in soundchecks that didn't make it to final setlist.
I think that nothing is completely certain yet, though. This evening the setlist will be available for everyone to see and then we'll know how well or poorly the Maidenfans forum predictions turned out.
They most certainly have never played anything in soundchecks that didn't make it in outside of maybe something like Wrathchild which they can probably rattle off with no rehearsal whatsoever. They've played songs in rehearsals well before the soundcheck or production rehearsal that didn't make the cut like Hallowed and Infinite Dreams on Maiden England.

e: And as for why I think it's fair to trust in "I heard this and that song played at the production rehearsal/soundcheck", it's the exact way we learned Sign of the Cross was in the LOTB set, although most, myself included, didn't believe it. ATG was also "confirmed" if it wasn't obvious yet in '23 this way.

So, it's safe to say that Rime will be the centerpiece epic of the night. It's interesting to see how early in the set Seventh Son will appear. Also, if they play The Clairvoyant, I think it lowers the chances of Infinite Dreams making it in—especially since there's also The Evil That Men Do. I doubt they’d leave that single out.
They might not play Evil That Men Do, but instead go with Clairvoyant (and Infinite Dreams). Imagine no Evil and 2 Minutes (if they play Powerslave) for this tour... well, some hits might be dropped for rare songs. But they haven't played them since 2019, so there's that.

Rime will be a centerpiece, Seventh Son would be an early epic (like Infinite, if they play it), while Powerslave/Phantom could be before Fear and Iron Maiden. Hallowed in the encores.

I remember very well that for the Future Past Tour I was telling myself NOT to look up anything before seeing them myself around a month or after the first show. And I also remember that the night of the opening, at around 12 at night I was on my phone, in tears because I was going to see some of my absolute favorite songs like CSiT, The Prisoner, Hell on Earth and of course Alexander the Great. And it was an incredible night!

This year I'm not even going to try and not check social media and everything. I'm 100% ready for it even though the concert I'll be going to isn't taking place for another 50 or so days. Bring it on!

I'm here now and I can't find this Budapest-specific shirt at the merch stands, was it accidentally released and pulled or have I missed where it is? It's not at the one by standing entrance, boo.

Looking forward to a good show, surreal to be at a tour opener.

Budapest shirt is sold out. :( It was available for 2 hours max. I hope they will have some more tomorrow.

Merch line was insane btw.

And he definitely won’t miss the opportunity to release some specific sounds himself, to enrich the whole experience of that live call amidst the quiet, crackling sound section of the song.

Damn, I have 11 new pages since yesterday. It's curious how many people, new people sign here when a new tour or album is going to be released.

Why is that curious? Seems normal to me, new tour starting people want to know the set/ look of the stage/ How many Irish bars has Janick been too ect.
