Iron Maiden News, Links, and Interviews

Wrathchild works really well live. It may have got Maiden Default Track status, but they perform it energetically. I'd take it over IM and Running Free anyway!
I Think they are talking about phantom of the opera last time played in 2012 and 2003 and 1999. Maybe running free killers and murders in the rue morgue. I dont see drifter prowler sanctuary or another life and many others from that albums being in the next tour. Drifter and prowler ? Nobody expect that songs.

New. Steve mentions here that he wrote the music for a song called ''Heat-Crazed Vole'' (in his first band, Influence), back in the days when he wrote ''Endless Pit''. I wish we could hear it. One of his earliest songs he wrote.
I think Steve touched upon that in the Early Days documentary, or the official book.

It looks like Kevin Shirley liked the Netflix Documentary announcement

The Iron Maiden Netflix Documentary is fake news. Wolfgang Rott (he is head of Iron Maiden's local promotion agency, CMM) has confirmed that and also clarified it with the Maiden management.
Kevin Shirley fell for it? Hmm.

So it was really fake news. It is March and no signs of this Netflix documentary being released soon. A lot of people found it believable.

It was very obviously fake based on a cursory look at the site the news originated from. Though we know from other sources there is some kind of documentary in the works.

Nicee. Infinite Dreams used as the title of the book - confirmed for the tour? :)

The cover is black & white RFYL Eddie... I expected something different.

Steve: ''I've been pleasantly surprised at some of the stuff that I've managed to unearth for this book. I knew I had kept a lot of things from the early days but they have lasted really well and the photography has brought them back to life. I hope the fans are going to love looking at all the stuff presented like this! It's the right time to bring it all together for part of our 50th celebrations''.

Currently on Amazon for £50. Fuck that.
I thought it was quite reasonable actually. About the right price for hardback coffee table book.

At least they haven’t gone with some £200 special edition with a load of tat included. Having said that I’d pay at least £100 (or more) if I could get a signed copy with all the guys signatures on the book and not on some card insert.
