The drummer from my band has just had a baby with my ex-wife, he's been my best friend for about 6 years now, and although it can be awkward seeing as he's now the step-dad to my two sons, he's still my best mate :facepalm::eek::lol:

I was listening to it in the kitchen yesterday as I washed up, my gf was in the garden clearing out the rabbit when she shouted: "Is that SOS? What the Hell are you listening to?" ha ha
When I explained what the song was about and the context of the SOS part, she wanted to listen to the song...
The way Bruce sings the chorus in this reminds me of Myles Kennedy singing one of the songs from Slash's solo efforts, can't remember which song (maybe Back From Cali from Slash?), but the first time I heard it, it definitely reminded of this.
That makes perfect sense, sometimes a "perfect take" is the one that you least expect i.e a demo recording. My usual approach to recording is to record absolutely everything the artist is doing in the live room, therefore if they play something special that they can't play (or remember) again...
