Iron Maiden Covers Album - Would You Buy It?

For some reason I thought this would concerning a photo album of Iron Maiden album covers printed in high quality. THAT, I'd buy in a heartbeat.
It already exists but it's difficult to get:

No lies, i was readin this thread earlier and listenin te Planet Rock radio and they played Maidens version of Cross Eyed Mary. True fact. Fate? Destiny? Who knows/cares....

Not sure where you're from, but it gets played a lot in the US.

Im Irish and it never gets played here, although i reckon we have very different radio compared to the US, digital is the only place to hear rock/metal (aside from specialist late night shows) and even thats quite recent. Planet rock changed my live, now at 7am i dont have to 'chose' my rock, it comes to me randomly and beautifuly...still not much Burzum though...

Same here. Specialist radio stations are still very new. The vast majority are general interest and mainstream.

I'd like to see them do something along the lines of Best of the B Sides in another boxed set but include all their B Sides including I Live My Way, Hocus Pocus, and Space Truckin' but of course, record some new ones like Stargazer, Starstruck, A Hard Road, and Die Young

Tripped on this topic... Here's my opinion on each song:

Women In Uniform - 8/10 (Hell of a cover.. always loved the spin Maiden gave to it)
I've Got The Fire - Live 9/10 (This is pure gold... pure adrenaline. Even better than the original)
Cross-Eyed Mary - 6.5/10 (Far from my favorite Tull song... Locomotive Breath would give one hell of a cover)
I've Got The Fire - 8/10 (Not as relentless as the previous version but still great in all formas)
King Of Twilight - 8.5/10 (Would prefer it only featured King Of Twilight - that part is superb - and not the initial meddley)
Rainbow's Gold - 8/10 (Another Beckett great cover... when it comes to Beckett Maiden can do no wrong :D )
Massacre - 8/10 (Cool Lizzy song and one hell of a cover)
All In Your Mind - 9/10 (This cover simply needed to be featured in No Prayer... the managed to completely "Maidenize" the damn thing. Fantastic!)
Communication Breakdown - 5/10 (Love instrumental and the original but I simply think Bruce's voice doesn't fit this Zepp tune)
I'm A Mover - 5.5/10 (Bluesy... ok but simply filler)
Kill Me Ce Soir - 8,5/10 (Great Golden Earring cover. The original's already got that tense feel to it but Maiden got it to a new level)
Space Station #5 - 5.5/10 (Fun cover but quite meh)
I Can't See My Feelings - 4.5/10 (Awful vocal approach on a Budgie filler)
Doctor Doctor - 7.5/10 (Cool Song and Maiden surely nailed this one. Blaze does a really good job here)
My Generation - 7/10 (Would love to listen this one with Bruce's voice: I think it would be way more fitting. Steve playing Entwistle is always a win)
Hocus Pocus - 6.5/10 (Funny take on Focus' tune with Nicko trolling the vocal part)
Space Truckin' - 8/10 (Maiden playing Purple - and mainly Bruce singing Gillian? Sign me Up any time)

That being said... why not? I wouldn't feature every single one nevertheless. Would go with something like:

  1. I've Got The Fire - Live
  2. Women In Uniform
  3. Cross-Eyed Mary
  4. King Of Twilight
  5. Rainbow's Gold
  6. Massacre
  7. All In Your Mind
  8. Kill Me Ce Soir
  9. Doctor Doctor
  10. My Generation
  11. Space Truckin'
  12. Hocus Pocus

Also would prefer they'd record reinterpretations for them all (something i'm to seeing happening at all) but if they wanted to release it as a compilation I'd buy it.
