Kevin Shirley is definitely in Paris if there was any doubt. He has posted a picture of the Notre Dame today.

I think the fact that he is posting pictures of his kids taken in Paris/elsewhere in France during weekends is a stronger indication that he is still there.

Tragedy? Not really. An old building (really beautiful, that's true) partially burned down but nobody died!

Yes, fortunate no one died. But given this is one of the most reconizable buildings in the world and it's historical significance, the fire was indeed tragic. It will be rebuilt but will never be the same.

It's not the first time they had to rebuild parts of it, it's 700 years old and it will not be standing forever
