Serbia beat Brazil to win Under-20 World Cup! :applause:

I don't understand how we can be so awesome in youth competitions yet so ridiculously bad in senior ones.
It goes in cycles. Iceland have always been a useless footballing nation but in the last few years their youth teams have been performing well in tournaments and those guys progressed into the senior team who nearly qualified for the World Cup. They're also top of their group in Euro 2016 qualifying, ahead of Holland, Czech Republic and Turkey.

So Kondogbia signed for Inter and snubbed Milan because Inter gave him more money. Also Jackson Martinez supposedly got an offer from Atletico Madrid and decided to break his promise to Milan, his agent ignoring calls from Galliani :facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:

I hope they both gerrard their future careers, the backstabbing twats.

Parma has declared bankruptcy and announced its dissolution. What a shame. They were one of the biggest forces in Italian football when it was at the top of the world, around late 90s and early 2000s. The UEFA Cup winning team of 1999 was something else with the likes of Gianluigi Buffon, Fabio Cannavaro, Lilian Thuram, Juan Sebastian Veron and Hernan Crespo playing for the team.

They will continue in Serie D though.

Doubt they ever bounce back from this. They already took a massive hit with the bankruptcy of 2004 and never really bounced back from it. Parma is not a major market, it's not even one of Top 20 most populated cities in Italy, doubt any rich guy would make an effort to get them back on track. They're more likely to roam around the lower leagues for years to come.

Wow so this is worst than how Portsmouth and Nottingham Forrest fell?

Nottingham Forest fell due to natural football-related causes, not quite comparable. Portsmouth were never as successful as Parma were.

New Partick Thistle mascot. :D

Mario Mandzukic signed for Juve, which means for the third time in the last four years, he'll join the latest runner up of the Champions League. Joined Bayern after they lost to Chelsea in 2012, joined Atlético after they lost to Real in 2014, joined Juventus after they lost to Barcelona in 2015.

Turkish club Antalyaspor just signed Samuel Eto'o and are close to signing Ronaldinho o_O Old or not, that's some marketing move right there.

Have they recently been bought by some super rich Arab or something? I can't see those two going there for anything other than money.

Don't know if anyone saw the game between Chile and Uruguay last night in the copa America. Basically Chilean defender Jara stuck his finger in Cavani's ass. Now Cavani had a yellow card early in the game for talking shit to the ref. cavani got a red for turning around and lightly putting his hands on Jara's face for that finger and Jara fell selling the hitting the face like it was real hence why Cavani got the red card

So, the QF between France and Germany goes to penalties. Let's see if the German ladies are as solid in this exercise as their male countrymen ...
