OK I just saw that we moved that to a non-public forum. I'm putting it up for discussion on the Mod forum if we should put it public for future reference, but here's the posts:
(Im not sure if this was the best place to put this... im new here and sorry to the mod who may want to move it to a better forum

)
Just wanted to let you guys know that after a long wait we finally got the Iron Maiden SWAG merch up on our website!!
Its quite original and I don't believe you'll find it cheaper anywhere else.. so hopefully this is helpful for a few of you who may be looking for this!
Check the website from this link and right now it should all be right up on the front page so you'll see it right away!

Hi there.
I'm going to reiterate in public that which was sent to the previous user who advertised for this website.
This forum does not allow threads to be opened for the specific nature of selling merchandise through a third party. We welcome the fact that users have websites and allow them to advertise for their third party site in their signature. If you wish to participate in discussions on this forum and advertise within your signature, hell, even what the newest sales are, that's fine.
Now, don't make me hop into the car and come down to Halifax and make this request in person.
On the contrary, I was skeptical of Sasha from the start.
Thank you.
So was I. We had Sasha on the radar before. I had forgotten about the Rockworld East thing, and put her up for discussion in the Mod Forum, where Loosey reminded us about it, also identifying her as one of their employees right away. not that it was hard: She posted links to their website. We resolved to ban her, but she did not post again and we forgot about it. That was all back in September. Drawing on that old resolution, I banned her on sight now.
I'm posting all this because I want to show you people that we don't just do stuff randomly because we enjoy it. There is a moderation process, and every Mod can barge in and say that he doesn't agree with it. Objections are discussed and taken into account, and generally we won't do anything unless we all agree it's the right thing. Unless it's really just a spam thread, anything is brought to the attention of other Mods and discussed before we do anything.
I'm being this apologetic because we've had too many occasions where members complain or start a discussion just for discussion's sake about our actions. Sometimes it feels that we're good enough to delete a dozen uggs threads, but shouldn't enforce the more elaborate of our rules. Essentially, when we ban someone over racist remarks, people complain that we're too soft, too pc or that we want to infringe free speech. If we don't ban someone over speaking their mind on a controversial opinion on homosexuality, we get complaints that we're too soft, too inconsequential or too biased. In both cases, people forget that we allow both strong opinions, and that we ban people over slurs: If people call others "fag", "queer" or stuff like that, the ban hammer swings, and it has swung in the past. Some people seem to choose not to know that. Perhaps the most bizarre discussion we've had was over banning someone for using the word "Jew" to insult someone else. Between the lines, some people seemed to imply that we're part of a Jewish world-conspiracy. Suddenly, we had to defend ourselves for fighting racism!
Sometimes, people also seem to choose to pretend to not be aware of rules or their necessity, and will object to any moderator action as an act of dictature and censorship. They seem to choose not to believe that we are open to suggestions, and that we are after them; and sometimes, they seem to choose to believe that only they are right, and everyone else is wrong.
At the risk of sounding like I'm blowing smoke, the quality of this forum is a credit to the mods.
My only mod complaints would be LC's dwindling post count and the disappearance of SMX.
Thanks for the appreciation. Loosey is busy with his jobs, and I honestly don't know what is up with SMX anymore.
