Agreed, the moderating just appears where it's needed, but the lack of trouble-causers suggests there's a lot of work going on behind the scenes. (This comes from someone who admins an open group on Facebook!) :eek:

Funny, this forum has turned over enough, there isn't even a Thousand_Suns reference any more.
 
I just wanted to say that while I mean everything I said and stand by it, I think I could have worded it better had I been in a better mood last night. Still, I'm glad to hear you people feel that we are creating a comfortable here.
 
Yes, this forum feels very good, and I am sure you and the other mods played a good part in that. Let's hope these positive reactions can keep you guys going for a while.
 
I'm pretty sure that the excellent atmosphere here is due to two things - the mods and the relatively small number of active members.
The other forum I've been a part of for more than six years now has 250,000+ members, most of whom are women and the place is a freakin' snake pit. The mods there are doing what they can but the place is huge and there is not much they can do about it.

So thanks guys for what you are doing! :ok:
