I love Devil On A Hog!
Groovy somewhat Deep Purpelish verses and a catchy chorus.
Yeah, same. The chorus melody is one of those melodies that is always tugging on the nostalgia in my heart. I don’t know how to describe it, maybe it’s a slip between major and minor? STP’s “Interstate Love Song” does the same thing.
 
Bruce is filming a new video for his upcoming solo album in the Nevada desert.

Maybe the single will be heavier like Rain style, I just hope it's pure/very heavy and not theatrical (although with the concept of the video; the theme is curious).
My main point was that the song doesn't fit thematically on the album.
The chorus really fits though.
 
Hard disagree. The chorus is arguably the most out of place part given the overall vibe of TOS.

Agreed. Devil on a Hog is a nice song, but sticks out like a sore thumb on Tyranny of Souls, with its Tattooed Millionaire vibes. The contrast with Believil and the title track, which come next, could not be starker.
