I think the 3 songs book of thel,the tower and darkside of aquarius are the most dificult of his catalogue.maybe jerusalem too but i would love to see him sing king in crimson and trumpets on the next tour.

Agreed. Songs not being fully fleshed out is my main problem with the album. I think Rain is a new sound for him, 70s theatrical rock to say, with a mix in feel of BTP and TCW, I guess. Shadow and Ragnarok's riffing are TCW moments for me.

Considering some interviews, songs like Sonata, Wounds (maybe, Bruce put it in the album at the last minute), Mirror, Many Doors, and Ragnarok were not part of the 2012/2014 plans for the album. Half of it. Also, Eternity is a reused song. Quite atypical album creation all in all.

From TMP studio clips and interviews, Bruce is pretty involved with everything about a song, let's see if the 2 guitarists have more say in the arrangements.

Not necessarily, assuming he has recovered from the bug that hindered his Eddfest performance to a great extent. He's been in good shape for most of this year's tour so far, so he's definitely very "warmed up" in that sense but has also had a chance to rest his vocal cords more than during an usual touring schedule.

That being said, we don't know how many takes he did now in the first place. Might have very well been just some double takes for harmonized parts or adding bits and bobs here and there, who knows. Or maybe he did most of the vocals now, dunno. :D Anyway, I'm quite excited to hear what they've been cooking for us!
