I should have just snarkily responded "eh, The Alchemist on CW is not even in the same league as The Alchemist on TFF".

Which is arguably correct.

The Alchemist on The Chemical Wedding is a Premier League song. The Alchemist on The Final Frontier is, being generous, an English Football League Championship (Tier 2) song. :D

The alchemist (tff) double twin guitar attack is this time like an intro of a cartoons film

Bruce commits a double faux pas here, doing the Vulcan salute with someone who didn’t play a Vulcan, then also getting the salute wrong (thumb should be out)! For shame.

TMP screenplay is one of Bruce's projects:

At the same time, I'm working on a screenplay, which is an offshoot of my comic, graphic novel, 'The Mandrake Project'. So it's not 'The Mandrake Project' 'cause I'm still halfway through finishing the third book, which will be out next year, and then the whole thing will be done, and we can put out a 500-page graphic novel. But it actually takes place after the end of this series of 'Mandrake'. 'Cause a friend of mine's a director in Brazil. I've just shot five music videos in the desert and various other places with him in the last week... It's gonna be about a 45-minute piece when it's all finished. But there'll be individual videos as well.

A logical continuation of the comics? So we should expect TMP songs videos. I wonder if the first new single will have a connection with TMP theme.

Bruce:

The new solo album, frankly, is up there with the best stuff that I've ever done. I mean, it's a whole level above 'The Mandrake Project', and it's absolutely amazing. You have to wait till next year to hear it, although there will be something out very soon, a first track. And the videos, we shot five videos for it now. The whole thing fits together as a story. So, it's really exciting, that world.

A level above TMP, calls it one of his best stuff... Bruce rarely praise so much. I think TMP was made without much enthusiasm, just to release it finally, and it shows. Roy didn't put his all into it, either.

5 videos for it! What, 5 singles? The whole thing fits together as a story, so almost like a semi-concept album?

It's really curious to hear Bruce's studio magic with new band members.

I am not gonna hold Bruce's enthusiasm against him, but yeah, his praise doesn't mean too much. He obviously wants to create hype.

For what it's worth my expectations are not very high. Mandrake Project was ok, with some great highs and terrible lows. Hopefully this one will be better!
The album ends on track 4. Becuase maiden IESF is not better than maiden

Maybe one day he’ll be an honest man…

It is the usual second-hand car salesman talk. Like father, like son.

I hope he is right though and the album is great. The Mandrake Project was an embarrassment, a humongous disappointment, especially considering it was coming from the people who gave us that masterpiece that is The Chemical Wedding.

I think that’s too harsh. Shadow of the Gods and Many Doors to Hell are excellent, and there are a couple of solid tracks as well. But Resurrection Men and Sonata should have been thrown into the bin.
