"England are officially weighing a complaint to FIFA to overturn a red card for their own match vs Mexico."

Do it. I can't wait to see FIFA dig itself into an even deeper hole.

I didn't see enough replays but I wouldn't doubt the double standard in the Argentina Egypt game. It didn't look like a foul on Salah in the box to me but only seen it once and haven't seen a close up of the McAlister incident before the Argentina goal.

So I've not seen enough to form a decent opinion and I thought Martinez was fouled for the disallowed Egypt goal but it's also rare that such a mild foul would be called back so long after the fact to disallow the Egypt goal. Not a usual thing. But probably a foul on Martinez.

I can't call corruption just yet but it certainly looks like Argentina got the best of those decisions and you have to wonder why. Oh, no, you don't have to wonder, it's cos FIFA are utter cunts and they prefer Lionel over Salah.

That said, at 2 nil I called an Argentina come back and my amigos all said noooooo but I said Liooooonellll

Apparently a UK Labour politician sent an letter to fifa askin for an overturn. Posturing for sure but fair play. Problem is, while it should embarrass FIFA it just won't. Zero fucks given, Infantino and Trump are Teflon bastards. Who's gonna hold them to account?

Switzerland-Colombia was a fun watch yesterday. Didn't really start paying attention until we hit the bracket, I don't have as much time to keep up with all the group stage matches anymore. :D
