The video I've seen shows 2 white peelers hand cuffing a white guy. Maybe the stabbing was racially motivated, I've not read into it and the police are definitely culpable in his death but I don't see how the policing is racist in this case. It's negligent and amateurish in the extreme.

To me it looks like the Sikh guys called the police and the police took them at their word that Novak was up to no good. The Sikh father even tells them that Novak can't stay upright and has a mouthful of blood. It's absolutely mind boggling that the police didn't treat him as a casualty but I don't see white on white racism here. Doesn't make any sense. The simple explanation is that the police are just fuckin useless.

Maybe not all of them, to be fair: the female police officer whose voice you hear does immediately try to help Nowak but she is ignored/brushed aside (maybe overruled) - I think she probably did the best she could in the circumstances.

On the other hand, the policeman who you hear saying "he hasn't been stabbed" without checking really at all I don't think should be allowed to be a policeman anymore.

Fair point, I didn't notice that, think I had the sound off when I watched it earlier. Feels like that makes it worse, that one of them was thinkin right but wasn't heard.

And yeah, I agree, losing his job is the least that should happen.

I guess you don`t remember one of the members on here from the usual politics group openly posting he wished death to a certain politician and anyone who supports him as a response to a different viewpoint. That ridiculous post was supported with likes from some of the other faces involved so i think i will stick to my opinion that they are a cult .

It's not about convincing me, it's about discussion and trying to see someone else's point of view. I'm happy change my mind when new information comes to light. I didn't want to read 20 articles or toxic comment sections, I wanted to hear what you yourself thought.

Don't recall, no. If there's a clique (there's not) then I'm not in it. I like a post if I agree with it or appreciate it, not because I'm on anyone's side. Just so happens that I tend to agree with people who hate war and corruption and racism and a slew of phobias, shit like that.

There is a clique but that`s nothing new on a forum and i never thought you were in it, you actually appear to have a sense of humour which is sadly lacking on here generally.

I had hoped to talk Maiden with like minded people most of the time but then it became apparent i actually like them, think Bruce is a bit of legend on the frontman front and it turns out most people think he`s a c..t and Maiden are past it so no luck there either

First you compare a situation where one individual murdered another and the police fucked up, with another where a policeman murdered a civilian. Now you are comparing someone posting an angry comment about a politician with you accusing members of the forum and attacking them. You're not that good with that whole "comparing things" thing, are you?

Go and mention specific members. Quote specific posts if you wanna discuss them. No need for this cowardly nonsense. Or you can try engaging with factual analysis instead of attacking those you cannot prove wrong.
