Maybe he's having a poke at FenderWho would have thought that Lado will be his main guitar again, awesome.

Found it on the internet, when I saw Adrian playing his guitar I thought it was the same model as the one in the photo, then I noticed some differences like the pickups, the headstock logo, the switch position, and most importantly the number of frets. Here's a shot of the Lado (most likely - as in, I don't know if it's actually H's Lado) - I saw it posted on the 2026 tour thread by @sea.of.madness.1986 - I'm unsure where the photo originates though! Perhaps you can advise?
Well, there is the FMIC lawsuit against small builders that has cost FMIC a good chunk of their reputation. It's not just that H is using the new one as the main guitar, as it's the new toy... The fact that he swapped the Drop D Jacksons with the old Silverburst Lado is quite telling.
I think Adrian might have sided with small guitar builders in the FMIC lawsuit debacle.
Fender started attacking small builders building S-type guitars, despite the strat body being an official public domain since 2009 (there was an lawsuit then and Fender was denied the patent on body style).Ok, not sure but I might have not even known of this lawsuit thing.
Well, there is a lot of layers to that. It's more about the fact that FMIC failed to trademark it in 2009, mainly due to Edward whos company EVH is ironically a part of FMIC.That new Lado is a looker, the fact that Nico got to play it before Adrian did must be such a mindfuck for him. I couldn't care less about this whole Fender "debacle", frankly I find it amusing that people are getting up in arms about a company not wanting them to use a design which they did not create, it just reeks of entitlement to me.
None of the two 2007 prototypes had H’s signature on the headstock. The 8431 (the drop D guitar, the one that was white with black pickguard) didn’t have anything on the headstock, and the 8432 (the one that was white with white pickguard) had “custom shop” written on the headstock instead of Adrian’s signature. The 2007 Jackson didn't have a signature on the headstock right? The black pickguard one that is.
Also, I forgot to mention, both of the 2007 prototypes had “Made in USA” painted on their headstocks.None of the two 2007 prototypes had H’s signature on the headstock. The 2008 production models (the one that was stolen and the one with the chipped pickguard) had it.
