RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

Well, I must say I am officially very keen to see them in Sydney. No, it's not perfect, and I'm still not convinced by the screens (especially because of what they seem to have done to the ticket price), but god damn the performance level looks high and the setlist is not only a very good summary package for the three history tours, but includes a couple of songs that were unfairly omitted in their actual respective history tours. I take back some of what I said this time last year about the setlist - I had hoped too hard for Infinite Dreams that time, when I just needed some patience.

Wish they would have been like this with their setlists fifteen years ago. Digging out forgotten songs like Alexander and Infinite
We'll, they technically were:
TFF (2011): TW, BB and DOD were not often played (if we ignore 2010 leg ofc)
ME: SSOASS was brought back after 24 years, M, TC, POTO and TP were not often played too

Rime wasn't played since 1987 when they did it in SBIT. Moonchild was in the same situation as ID (only played on its album tour). Prisoner and SSOASS also weren't played for a long time when ME happened. I agree they started getting a little bit more creative since Bruce's cancer on TBOS tour, but every tour had its bit of surprises.

Now thats a perfect setlist.
A bunch of stuff they’ve played every tour for decades, still has Aces High which he can’t sing and it’s used as an encore which makes it even worse, and still nothing from NPFTD.

It’s fucking great they’re finally doing Infinite Dreams, but come on.

Moonchild was the first encore in 2008, Somewhere Back In Time tour.

Setlist got slightly rejigged and it was dropped for the 2009 leg. They added Phantom of the Opera to the main set.

Gotta say i really love Simon's interpretation of "Infinite Dreams" - he does a little shuffle thing in the first verse which sounds so tight.
Tight but i really miss the nicko's loose way of play.

Not going to prolong this subject because it's pointless. Simon will be the drummer until the band retires (unless something serious happens to him).

Okay, I’m just gonna say it: Bruce’s voice does not sound as bad as we’re making it seem on Aces High. It is very good for a 67 year old man near the end of a show.

Now, I do fully agree with the critique of “if you have to alter the melody that much or talk-sing in the chorus, just tune down to change the key.” But it’s not like he’s super flat/sharp throughout the song. He is a bit yelpy on some high notes in the verses, but he seemed to get it under control and get the power and fullness back to a sustainable level.

He’s not like (as much as I love him as a singer!) Brian Johnson on AC/DC’s Power Up tour. Yes, I know he’s much older. Brian has had trouble getting his pitch right during the verses of Highway to Hell the entire tour. His voice is also not as full sounding on a lot of songs. He’s still very good or even great most of the night, just struggling in spots.

Is Bruce singing Aces as well as on LOTB ‘18/19 or SBIT? No, not at all. Is it a poor singing performance on a pure technical level? Not really. Should they tune down or play another song so it doesn’t become a problem later in the tour? Probably.

This is all just my opinion though. If you don’t like the performance, that’s totally okay! I just don’t think it’s a truly bad performance. Thank God it’s not a Vince Neil or post 2008 David Lee Roth situation

The harmony in Infinite Dreams is played by all of the 3 Amigos, right? Like with CSIT.

btw, they could have used the backdrop from the 88 tour with screen effects. They really wanted to have green lights and colors for a song? They could have made something mystical with this color too, the song's theme is fitting.

During aces high he tries to go trough the song until he reach the chorus. But its a really bad version of aces high if you compare to all previous tours. They should have chsnged it for ID. Lets see what he does at Paris with all the show been filmed.
