We'll, they technically were:Wish they would have been like this with their setlists fifteen years ago. Digging out forgotten songs like Alexander and Infinite
Charlotte 2017 was a great showWith the addition of Infinite Dreams this is definitely one of the best 80s focused setlists they've done. Ill have a full set of feelings after seeing them in Charlotte; but I think it might beat out TBOS 2017 for me
Rime wasn't played since 1987 when they did it in SBIT. Moonchild was in the same situation as ID (only played on its album tour). Prisoner and SSOASS also weren't played for a long time when ME happened. I agree they started getting a little bit more creative since Bruce's cancer on TBOS tour, but every tour had its bit of surprises. We'll, they technically were:
TFF (2011): TW, BB and DOD were not often played (if we ignore 2010 leg ofc)
ME: SSOASS was brought back after 24 years, M, TC, POTO and TP were not often played too
A bunch of stuff they’ve played every tour for decades, still has Aces High which he can’t sing and it’s used as an encore which makes it even worse, and still nothing from NPFTD.Now thats a perfect setlist.
Spiritualists? Me I’m neither.I saw some gloating over the nonbelievers on account of ID getting played, but I'm gloating over all the believers here myself.
Moonchild was the first encore in 2008, Somewhere Back In Time tour.Rime wasn't played since 1987 when they did it in SBIT. Moonchild was in the same situation as ID (only played on its album tour).
I was talking about 2008, it wasn't played since SSOASS tour, just like ID before today.Moonchild was the first encore in 2008, Somewhere Back In Time tour. It got dropped for Phantom of the Opera on the 2009 leg.
Tight but i really miss the nicko's loose way of play.Gotta say i really love Simon's interpretation of "Infinite Dreams" - he does a little shuffle thing in the first verse which sounds so tight.
