News Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 Rumours and Speculation

Honestly it’s now or never for playing ATG in Greece. There is nothing to suggest they will play it tomorrow but one can only dream. :)
THere is no hint but who knows
I don't know about playing Rime, 7th son AND Alexander tbh. Three epics? Not that I would complain though

I think we should temper our expectations though. I bet we don't even get Infinite Dreams, but if we do, just swapping out an overplayed boring classic for that one song instantly makes the setlist elite.
Phantom for me is an epic, the first one

We saw glimpses of the production but obviously not the entire thing. I don't think anyone claimed the entire thing was AI-generated. Just some supplementary uses here and there, possibly due to time constraints.
Supplementary AI usage is pretty much here to stay for most industries. Its used a lot in the hospitality & web design/IT realms so no doubt 3D Imaging firms use the hell out of it.

The commercial AI suites are pretty cool; my buddy in web design / coding has access to some of them and it can pump out a scarily decent AI song/jingle in a matter of seconds. When it comes to that Im curious what the future of copyright/intellectual Property rights will be.

Well Aces is surely staying then?
I think this is the video Rod promised last year, they just forgot about it (like they released a TFP setlist video before the start of RFYL tour). Cool and curious to see the animations work, always is with backdrops and arts. Tour concept by Steve, Bruce and Rod again.

Also, Aces merch being there is not an indicator, remember the Shadows Of The Valley merch in 2017 (iirc).
The traditional tour hype trailer. The intro with animations is curious though, it could mean Aces is staying (or they wanted a different and cool intro), which would be crazy with potentially another tough song added. Nice to see more pro-shot footage.

Maybe they'll just make an exception for Greece and they play a 2nd encore. Have they ever done something like that?
Hills at RIR 2001. If they play it, Alexander would be a bonus to the set for 1 show, it won't replace anything. They really should do it for the Greek fans, imagine if they had announced it in advance, the stadium would have been full.

Like TFP tour, and what about Phantom, plus it'd be for 1 show, can't see for the whole tour.
Evil maybe? Maybe Revelations, Alex? I don't think they'd play something they haven't played for years. Infinite Dreams will be the surprise. If they change a 2nd song it will either be a live staple or Alex because of Athens.
I think we'll only get ID though
But what if they decided to change 3-4 songs (with one more surprise and a staple) because they won't tour next year (which could have been a 3rd leg with some changes)? Let's see.

...but to drop 2 Minutes and Wrathchild, I'm not sure, some of their best and most popular live songs.
If they were doing Alexander the Great in Athens we would have seen a clip from the soundtrack firstly on here and then also repeatedly broadcast over Greek national news
They want to keep it a surprise? For real. Unlike with Infinite for fans like us. Plus, they already learned the song 2 years ago, while Simon probably did his own rehearsals.

I could see it as possible if they were playing a standard Maiden stage and they just brought the extra backdrop for the one show. However, if they’re gonna do it at all on this tour, that means there is production for it, which I doubt they’d go to all the effort to make for something that gets played once.

Well, nowadays they just need to change the graphics on the screens. No backdrops anymore. So....

Depends how much effort they put into it. If they just got a digital version of TFP's alex backdrop, they could throw that up quickly and easily

Athens event tshirt. Quite nice. With Medusa. Doesnt senem to have an Alexander reference. Maybe the one statue on the right… Hmmm
