News Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 Rumours and Speculation

They should do the Metallica 2-night per city thing, with different setlists of course. It's a win win situation. They cut the expenses of the touring, they travel less and the fans see more songs being played live. Now, with the screens it's even easier to play more songs live and change things up.

Many people would be forced to buy tickets for both nights just to listen to the whole programm. Same as Metallica fans did on M72 tour. The wallets would be completely drained, but Maiden could announce a very special shows in selected cities around the continent. That would be OK.

I agree. Completely changing sets during 2 shows wouldn't work for Maiden. However, they could do something that Rush do and have an A and a B setlist which differ in 3 songs of equal length and value to the set (for exampla Running Free and Sanctuary/Revelations and Powerslave/CIPWM and Clairvoyant/COTD and The Prisoner) and then play 4 nights in one city with ABAB set rotation. The rotated songs should not be a crucial part of the set.

I think they did that in 2011? Rotating Paschendale and dance of death. And just for a few shows. They dont do that.

Because they chose two difficult long songs to rotate and forgot to tell Nicko that they will be doing Paschendale, which he learned of when they met for rehearsals.

Also it would mean one night couldn't finish with Iron Maiden, throwing away 50 years of a tradition of every gig ever finishing with Iron Maiden just to please this generation of spoilt bastards doesn't square up with what my image of Iron Maiden is.
