News Burning Ambition Documentary

IM posted this video. Probably to address those accusations of using Ai on the poster.

It's always cool to see such art videos. Btw, the Eddie from the poster could have been used for From Here To Eternity single cover, it would fit.

Adrian promised some new stuff for the fans to discover, and that the story will be from 1980, so some rare footage even for one song will be great.

We’ll see :p

I wouldn’t call myself the most well researched and knowledgeable Maiden fan but having been a fan for 35 years and after reading most books released about the band as well as many magazine articles and watching various documentaries I very much doubt this documentary will tell me anything I don’t already know about the band.

If there is anything I didn’t know then it will be some random piece of info that I wouldn’t care about anyway like I don’t know what Steve Harris’s favourite colour is lol, something like that.

I’m expecting this documentary to basically re hash the early years parts 1-3 in a quick overview way with a little extra in to cover the years after part 3.

I’d love this to be a thorough in depth deep dive documentary but as it has to appeal to casual fans I doubt this is what it’ll be.

5 or 10min montage style intro, 5mins credits, 90mins film proper. Sounds about right.

We've been told that this is more about the cultural phenomenon that is Iron Maiden from the fans perspective than a true history. The runtime seems fine to me. It could get boring otherwise. Like how many times can you hear various people say that Maiden are fuckin fantastic.

I'm sure all eras will be covered but it will be more of a general time line than a true history of the band. That's my take anyway and it works because we got fairly in depth history on dvd up until 7th son. No point rehashing all that, a different angle is required for a new, stand alone film for the 50th anniversary. Fingers crossed they take up the History series in the future.

And I'm 100% certain that they will tease a new album at the end, oh yes, yes I am.

Over one and a half hours is fine. Remember, the die hard fans are not the target audience. You don't wanna bore new potential fans with the Lord of the Rings extended cut extravaganza. Pacing is important and I'd rather they cut out all the unnecessary fluff.
