Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 Rumours and Speculation

Could be the case for a newcomer band, not for a band with its members in their 60/70
The average age in Maiden when they played India in 2008 was barely 50, 51. It was only three years later they were in Jakarta. From that point on, they then never gave these markets any attention at all, not even occasionally. My comment was more about why reunion era Maiden didn't bother with wider parts of Asia, rather than doing it now (that ship has sailed).

I don’t know what you think, but based on recent years — and especially on the RFYL tour — Germany is currently the band’s biggest market in the world.
Metal Hammer Germany's next issue features the results of its reader survey covering the year 2025.
Results:
Best band of all time
Best artists of 2025
Best concert of 2025

Iron Maiden
Iron Maiden

They overstimated the demand. The reality shows something different. >I'd like to see the tour as the next big success (as you suggest), but now, unfortunately, nothing shows that.
I really don't follow your logic here. A festival bought a Maiden appearance and have, for whatever reasons, capped their sales at 50k (and this is a multi day festival by the way). What in the name of Zeuss' butthole (fantastic Nic Cage quote by the way) does that have to do with anything? That's a rather pathetic doom-and-gloom argument on your behalf if you ask me, apologies for me being a bit grumpy today.

People are generally both naive and lack understanding of how these things work. There's the idea of a band that plans a tour, book venues, promote gigs, sells tickets and book transfer and accommodation. Maybe in the era of the "Green Goddess" but not at this scale. You put yourself up in a market and the highest bidder wins. You agree and a contract is signed. The promoter sells tickets using a third party and the deal on who gets what in terms of revenue is under tight NDA on all levels.

Think touch of sarcasm regarding Maiden in Czech Republic.

2025 great success overall. Maybe 2026 doesn't reach those heights, some concerts not selling great, but still likely to shift a serious amount of tickets.

Announce rest of world please and be done with it!
Funny they still don't want to announce, it has been 2 months since the last announcement.
