London was sold out. Halfway down link says just over 69,400. Add on attendance from Birmingham and Manchester then 110k saw Maiden in England. Do tend to agree that big ask to sell 125k at Knebworth, 75k+ be good in 2026, hopefully closer to 90k.

Thanks. I will buy a Rock im Park ticket. I am not convinced Hellfest will be announced. That would be 3 shows in France and they played Hellfest in 2023, I don't know.
Hellfest is the biggest metal event in the region and basically sold out a long time ago, no risk for them,

Obviously, it was different, because Simon is not Nick. He's not a copy of Nick. His emphasis in terms of the way he drums, the sound of his drums is different. He's a different type of drummer. But he does everything that a drummer should do, which is he keeps the time. And that's it.
Nick was like a human fireworks display every night in terms of his drumming, personality and everything else. And Simon's not; he's low key. He is not exactly the polar opposite to Nick, but he's different. He's more thoughtful. He's very analytical. He warms up for, like, two hours, and he's just putting things together and refining and tweaking things and stuff like that. So he's a different drummer, but the songs are the same. And he's happy. Everybody in the band is perfectly happy. But they're not the same. You can't replace Nick with a clone. And I was shocked at how I was, like. 'Oh my God. I'm having a flashback here,' looking over my shoulder, going, 'Wow.' 'Cause his natural feel is to be kind of like around the beat, almost like a swingtime thing, like an Ian Paice-type feel. And it's just nuance. But Clive was great. I loved playing with Clive.

He has, so it's odd (btw, he played 2 of his most difficult solo songs towards the end of the set last year). The thing is, Aces as a song is always a great start, not really a middle-type of song, and maybe the band thinks the visuals are perfect for the encore. The tempo too. The first songs of the set have their own theme.

69500 is significantly below capacity, and tickets were available on the day.
I got my ticket literally a couple of hours before show time.

Have you seen footage and pictures from the show? You mentioned 80k, but where would you fit those remaining 7-8000 people? Behind the stage?
They sold out the show quite early, but released some extra tickets at a later stage plus production holds. It's possible some tickets were left, but it counts as a sold out show on the official box office score.
All companies, Billboard Boxscore, Pollstar confirmed a sold-out show.
A total of 69,500 tickets were sold, and there were also thousands of guests.
Each show has a specific ticket allocation.
In official numbers, it was the largest solo Iron Maiden concert in history.

Depeche Mode sold out London Stadium with 65000, Beyonce Jay Z averaged 63000 in 2 sell outs. Sell outs at O2 in London can range from 21000 down to 13000, depends on configuration (seats or standing on floor, stage in middle or end) and tickets released as noted above.

''I think we were always very traditional in our production. With the backdrops, it was like you were going to see a play in the theater. I think Rod usually has a vision for the shows and he gets together with Steve. Bruce has a lot to do with the visuals. Bruce, he's getting more and more and more involved in stuff going on stage, like the gun battle with Eddie and all that. I don't get involved in that, to be honest. But I think it was a conscious thing to maybe sort of just change it up a little bit, just to give a different look…I mean, I like it''.
Rod, Steve and Bruce are coming up with the stuff. Rod is involved with stages and suggests some songs!
A potential upgrades to this production for the next tour are curious. I don't think they will abandon the screens, you know just for 1 tour, and it's easier for the crew - screens + props is the logical upgrade (including big Eddie; it would be tricky). Who knows. Change of the shape like in the 80s,can't see it.

I really hope that this production set was just for the 50 aniversary. I want the old backdrops and the big eddie. If they want to have a big production thry should do like the 80s. Btw during the 80s most of the bands have huge productions. Even dio had very cool stages. We can do a topic maybe about it.

This is a compilation of different shows from the tour (Budapest, Berlin, Paris, Copenhagen, Bremen, Frankfurt, Prague, Belfort), I watched it yesterday and the selected performances are quite strong. Good job. I enjoyed it a lot.
I have to say that the setlist is very predictable and not that exciting, but these classics are just timeless. No matter how many times they have been played. Now after some time has passed since the tour, I can look back on it. The best songs from the first half of their career with new and cool stage show - the other albums also deserve such tour. Songs like Wicker Man, Brave, Dance, Hell On Earth, Suns, Futureal...etc, deserve.
From the other big 80s songs for the band, we are missing: Evil That Men Do, Running Free/Sanctuary, Revelations/Icarus, Bring Your Daughter, while songs like Madness, Heaven, Children, Revelations, Icarus have been played recently. If this tour was 20 songs, they add the following songs and it's perfect (some are rare cuts though:
- Evil That Men Do (still a surprise it's not in the set)
- Infinite Dreams/Only The Good Die Young/To Tame A Land
- Bring Your Daughter/Be Quick Or Be Dead/No Prayer For The Dying
Even just changing Aces for Infinite or a 90s song will make a big difference.
