USA Politics

Just a quick reminder to all and not just @Azas .

Chat GPT and any other A.I is an algorithm. It answers based on how it was programmed and yes the answers can lean left, right or whatever based on how the algorithm was coded/programmed.

Just like Twitter/Facebook or any other social media can be programmed to favor certain posts, an AI can be programmed to favor certain views.
Yes, ChatGPT may sometimes be wrong, but in this case it searched the web and found plenty of Michta’s articles that clearly show his political views.

From what I see, according to Vaenyr, god forbid anyone posts something that leans to the right—because it supposedly ‘raises the temperature’ too much here. So I guess only left-leaning takes are allowed? That honestly reminds me of something very nasty. In fact, Trumpists are doing the exact same thing right now—calling to censor and silence views they dislike. The irony is hard to miss: this push for censorship came from someone who openly declares far-left views. Pathetic.

And you still don't get it...

Yes it searched the web, BUT, it can cherry pick what it decides to include in it's answer. I am not saying this is what it did in this case, since I don't know who that guy is, all I am saying is take what it tells you with a pinch of salt. And do your own research.

As for @Vaenyr I'll just repeat what I said earlier. And you still don't get it... or you don't want to get it and you twist what he says in a way that suits your narative.

P.S. Today I have impressed myself. I am so restrained in my posts. New firewall I installed on myself must be doing a good job. :p:p:p

It is a large language model, it has no intelligence. Uncritically trusting an LLM means uncritically trusting something that cannot accurately count the number of "R"s in the word strawberry. Food for thought.

No one is calling for censorship, that's another strawman. Learn to read what people actually write.

I'm asking you to inform yourself on the topic you want to be part of. You have posted objectively incorrect claims in this thread and you've done so multiple times. You ask why there are no protests, when there have been regular protests with thousands of participants for literal months. That's not "censorship"; that's asking you to take some responsibility and show the bare minimum of respect to other users, by not constantly sharing inflammatory bullshit that has no basis in reality. Especially when you are told time and time again how wrong you are and why exactly you are wrong, yet you refuse to acknowledge that or take responsibility.

Hell, even now you are once again laser-focused on attacking the far left, after people called you out for believing nonsensical "neo marxist" talking point by a right wing populist. Instead of listening to ideas and forming your own opinion, you already have an opinion and then look for articles and activists to reinforce your opinion.

Look, you can do whatever you want, but I want you to think on this:

I'm not the only person here who regularly pushes back against your posts in this thread. Do you think that every single person who disagrees with you is wrong and blinded, and that you're the only one who got things right? Or could it be that sometimes it is you who is wrong and there's a reason so many people (of varying positions on the political spectrum) are calling your posts out? Food for thought.

I am self-critical—sometimes even excessively so. As for others pushing back against my posts, that’s a fact, no denying it. Likewise, several people here have challenged your stances; some were even banned—not necessarily as a direct consequence, but still. So yes, we’re all deeply flawed.

Not a single person has been banned because of me. One posted literal neo nazi shit, and others like Judas rage quit the forum for the hundredth time (and it wasn't because of one of my posts either).

The disagreements people have with me are usually due to my tone and behavior, or about subjective experiences, rarely about the content of my posts.

Edit: Before anyone misreads this comment, I'm not trying to claim that I'm somehow perfect or always correct. Far from it. I make mistakes as well. But they usually aren't on the level of ranting against Pride month because veterans don't get enough recognition without realizing that there are multiple occasions each year reserved for horing veterans.
Or asking why there are no protests when there have been so many for months.
