Yes Maiden had their 90s speed with their reunion lineup, it was awesome. The Paris 99 show remains one of the best I ever saw.

I was there and it is the best live show I ever saw. The reunion got their engines running hot again and Nicko had the gas on full throttle. What a sight to behold.

Its says that on the video. I can remember the press conference was in amsterdam and i thought the first show was in Ny but as it saiys the video im mistaken. But the first 5 min is pure energy

My guess is that announcements for future plans will be timed for around then, whether for the movie or the tour or more. Can't see Metal Hammer doing yet another purely retrospective article on maiden right at this minute.

I was at that show at the bercy arena with Megadeth supporting. Awesome show

I must agree with you. The X Factor is worth listening to but VXI... parody of old Maiden.

Yes its a copy of old maiden or trying to sound maiden but has 2 or 3 good songs.

Nah, it has Futureal, which is one of the best album openers in their discography. The Clansman is a beloved Harris epic as well.

VXI is lighthearted and happy. It´s very different from the darker X Factor (which I prefer from the Blaze albums). It's a good album!

Let's hope so. I also think it's time for some more teasing for the future. I think we can have a tease/hint at the end of the documentary.

There's no such thing as objectivity in criticism.

TXF is a collection of mostly good songs that are horribly produced. VXI is a collection of mostly mid songs that are slightly better produced. The overall result balances them out. There is no competition between the two Blaze albums as they are equally bad.

But the songs themselves have staying power since they have been proven time and again to come to life when performed live by Maiden and Blaze respectively. An open minded fan could and should acknowledge this.
