RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

I was listening to Simon more closely. I think some songs are great and some are a bit iffy. Biggest example are Rime and 2 Minutes. The first is great, but the second was littered with strange fills.

They allowed all kinds of bags in the end lol

Anyways, a great show and a great tour this was. Saw it 5 times. If you haven't seen it you have missed a lot of great things. Berlin was the best IMO.

I hope everyone will have a chance to see the boys in 2026.

Were you in Paris by any chance? If so what did you think of the sound comparatively? Personally I had trouble hearing the guitars.

I was in Dublin, Glasgow and Berlin 2.

I terms of gig quality/experience I'd order them

1.Glasgow - 4. 5/5
2.Berlin - 4/5
3.Dublin - 3/5

Waldbuhne is a stunning venue for sure but Glasgow takes it for being indoors and thus making me feel more engaged in the whole thing, plus the band seemed extra happy to be alive that night, to me.

I will very much endeavour to see Maiden indoors from here on.

In terms of travel rating...

1. Malahide - I have zero desire to go to this town or venue again.

2. Glasgow - I like this city, always fun, great venue.

3. Berlin - First time here, I shall be back, Maiden or not.

A comment. Every Maiden gig pre 2022 had me enthralled from start to finish. Every one since has not and I haven't quite worked it out. Mayhap it's me just burning out. Or mayhap the subjective side of me notices something in the water. Who knows, just something I feel like admitting for the first time.

That said, I've never had a 'bad' Maiden gig.

Simon bought them quite a bit of time. I'm convinced we're getting another album.
Agreed.
Yeah, Bruce called Simon the newest band member in Berlin. While anything he says onstage should be taken with a grain of salt, it seems like we should abandon the "touring member" idea.
Yeah, and I think it's clear now and with Bruce's tease about the future. They should release one live video now after the end of the 1st leg (a tradition in recent years) to kind of confirm this.
The art is cool, with a nod to the 1984 Poland tour art. I like the Eddies and the written songs on the wall (two of them are Running Free and Charlotte The Harlot).

Kinda. Security was super sucky. Some people were let in with umbrellas, somtimes there didnt allowed small purses etc.

But either way - show was great, rime and hallowed were highlight to me. I was waiting for 7 son but due to shitty accoustic instrumental part in my sector was messy. I lied to myself that im not excited. Second Maiden was on stage i was internally crying from happines.

Also - opening band was great!

After seeing the tour 4 times in total, I can safely say, I'm glad it's over for now. I had a good time at every gig ( Berlin was the best), but overall it's the worst Maiden tour I've seen live.
The best moments were all Bruce's vocals (Seventh Son, Rime, Powerslave) or Dave's solos ( literally almost every song).
Production wise I liked Powerslave and Wasted Years best and all the songs that had videos that worked like backdrops, except that shitty Phantom theatre image.
Now, I just hope this tour ends in 26 and they go on with something more interesting after that. It was nice to see all those epics at one show but it didn't flow well imo. Having one epic and then an overplayed classic followed by another epic doesn't work for me.
On a positive note, these guys have at least 5-10 years of touring in them. They still got it.

I agree. Saw them just once this year (after 17 years) and it felt rather fulfilling. I do see a new album in the works and 2027 as potential release year for it. The next 10 years, I really really hope they do a 1995 - 2015 tour. As a huge fan of their 2000s works, I’d love to hear live classics from Brave New World, AMOLAD & DOD. Well they may not sell a lot of tickets here but, these albums cannot go ignored.

I doubt they'll do a 1995–2015 tour. They're getting older, and their time for touring is limited. They know a "classics" tour would sell better. I really don't think they'd commit to a tour that would attract less attendance. From a business standpoint, it just makes more sense to go with a setlist packed with well-known songs. So, something like Powerslave + The Book of Souls seems more likely, imo. But I could be completely wrong—at the end of the day, they do what they want.

Still, if they did go with Powerslave + TBOS, we’d probably get at least four really deep-cut songs! And just one more go at “Deuces High.” Again. Ha ha.

I know they may never do that but I think those albums require promotions too. Leaving aside the commercial aspect, those albums have some legendary bangers that reminisce with their 80s.

Maybe combine 2 albums from the 80s with 2 from the 2000/2010s. Eg - Piece of Mind, Seventh son with AMOLAD & BNW. Or maybe something else idk. Just shooting from the top of my head at this point.

I loved the 2 shows i saw this year , still don`t get the worst live show of Maiden`s angle but each to their own. Hopefully i`ll get to see it again in 2026 and i suppose the people who didn`t rate it will skip it and look towards 2027.

Saw 3 shows this year. Copenhagen, Stockholm and Berlin. I had a fantastic time with all three shows, Stockholm was the best imo. Really missed Nicko but thought Simon was great.

Highlights gotta be Rime and Powerslave

Really wish they could release some live albums or videos from this tour and the Future Past tour. And something real from Legacy...
